We have to take a risk on someone.
No we don't, we need to get an upgrade on what we have. And what in RB while not being great isn't so awful that anyone will be worse.

I don't see what you disagree with? There's no certified WC RB out there so each and everyone of these options are risks.
Are you saying we should go in with Aleix-Palencia and only sign a WC RB who's almost a guaranteed success?
Xavi saying he would not sign a player who left Barca, yet was the one who kept talking about Barca DNA and how Cesc was destined to play for Barca
What I mean that if Semedo -whom I didn't watch him enough-isn't better than we have, then we shouldn't gamble on him.
The board should be fairly confident that whoever they bring for the position is an upgrade. seem for midfield. No more mediocre players
Obviously, but that's still a risk.
Player might not adapt. Might get injured. Might rattle under pressure.
It's like that will all young players. They're all a risk.
Luckily we also focus on low risk older players like Arda, Vidal and Vermaelen.
Vermaelen is easily good enough for a backup when he's actually healthy

We need a midfielder and RB.
Shouldn't be one or the other.
Both signings should be made and it's not like signing a RB will make it impossible for us to sign a good midfielder.
The issue is us being blind and chasing one target and not having a plan B.
We can wait for Verratti until the end of the window, but still won't get him.
