I can't think of any RB in La Liga that would be that much of an improvement to what we have that isn't at the likes of Real etc.

De Marcos is basically another Sergi Roberto. He was a Midfielder that was later converted into one but not as good as Roberto is and he's also older. Might as well just see how Wague develops or continue trying to find young prospects because you aren't going to find a decent RB out there around Roberto's and Semedos age that hasn't been snatched up.

Yes, his final pass is awful though. Terrible. He hasn't improved his final pass at all while at Barca.

Yeah his only clear flaw. While Roberto sucks at many many things.
There is a bigger chance that Semedo learns end product than Roberto learning 3/4 stuffs a RB should know and possess.
That's why Semedo needs to be the starter RB till the end of the season. If he can't develop into a world class RB or something near to it, buy new RB in summer.

Semedo cannot magically learn end product. There were not any traces of it during 1,5 years he is with us. Need to give Wague a chance.

I never said Semedo will learn for sure end product. Maybe he'll never learn it indeed. What's even more likely is that an average midfielder will never learn how to be a proper right back, and I don't even talk about world class (Barça level) right back.

Considering our lack of attacks down the right wing, my choice for our RB position is clear.
