Roberto was good when he came on yesterday.. but it’s obvious Semedo is the better player at RB... you just have to watch the games without stats.

Agree, and rightfully Semedo played more as a starting RB this season than Roberto
That said some people are allergic when anyone points to Roberto's strengths over Semedo and want Semdo to get same treatment of Alba being undisputed starter that should never be on the bench for tactical reason, he is just not there yet .
Roberto surely improved our attack yesterday, which what our bench is supposed to do when we are losing.
It was a risky move by EV since Semdo is much better defender right now, but it worked well.

Yeah I thought Roberto and Dembele subs yesterday worked well.. changed the dynamic on that right side. Props to Valverde for that.

Yes and cule4life thinks rakitic sucks in all things football yet was nowhere to be seen for a signature bet i sent to any of the haters on that if rakitic is sold this summer i have the over 40 and you take the under. Absolutely well thought out and well articulated. The nuance gets lost on so many bc of their love of some and hate of others. Semedo is our best option in many situations, maybe most even, but some times the team plays better with roberto and his assets. It is a good thing to have options among good players, at least way better than it has been since dani got greedy and flaked on us. I find it odd to hate anyone on your favorite club unless the player is deliberately cancerous or undermines the club. Otherwise in almost all cases they are trying to do the job asked of them to the best of their ability and for the shirt.

@ fanboys here trying to make me a Roberto fanboy.
I usually lurks here before just reading about the players and new transfers. But this past years all i read are complains about player A player B etc etc full of negativity in this forum, while pushing their agendas that this player will be a great signing, better starter, contributed more etc etc. When i call out your BS now you spoiled brats are whinning and calling others a fanboy.
Is it so hard for you to give credit to other players just because it wont fit ur agenda. "Stats doesnt matter just use the eye test" well same result. I posted few gifs to answer some BS comments. Yeah they helped us win trophies so they get a pass for life. Gee with that mentality why are players like Pedro still not here?

I would take someone criticizing players' poor performances (maybe even a little excessively) over someone who worships them blindly and never questions them.

It's cool I accept you had nothing to do with that. I found the whole episode bizarre, never happened to me and I been on moderated boards of my favorites sports teams about 20 years. Accept the pile was about Coutinho’s match—let that one go.
