Gotta see how he links up with Messi. Our link up play on the right flank was virtually non existent last season. One half of a game where he played with someone who should never play at RW for Barca doesn't really show what he can be. Hopefully next game he gets to play with Messi.

That pitch looked dry as fuck. I noticed all game, aerial balls stopped awfully short everytime. Sliding was almost non-existent.

Semedo has better speed and technical skills.

He needs time. Preseason is not the time to get on a players case.

I don't think he has really played in this kind of set-up before so of course it will take some time. It must be especially difficult to get used to being the only Barca player on the right flank when Messi pushes inside. I am sure he will get more comfortable, especially as he learns the language and understands instructions/systems better.
