Understandable Maatsen was left out even if he deserved to be picked. Cowman obviously wants to play with a defensive LB and a RB who will spend most of his time attacking.

Considering you follow Serie A, how have you not included Reijnders?

Also, De Ligt is the Dutch Maguire, except he doesn't even turn up for his country. There are other better options.

I only follow AS Roma and occasionally Inter Milan dawg. But I heard good things from Reijnders.

CB position next to VVD is up in the air, agreed.

Read a while ago Koeman subbed him off to protect the guy from the mounting criticism.

Pressure issues. I had the impression he's tough mentality since being Ajax captain at such a young age. He managed to bounce back after the nightmare debut for NT against Bulgaria. Bulgaria won miraculously 2-0 due to De Ligt's poor marking of Spas Delev.

I often take Netherlands in Fifa, makes fun to play with them, the offense players are more agile and faster than in real life.

Boss Virgil in defence is a cheat code, nearly impossible to lose a 1vs1 with him and even though De Ligt is slow he is my first choice as CB with Virgil, both are fire 🔥🔥

Always liked the Netherlands. They've declined in the last 15 years or so, and the signs were even there before that. But from the 70s to the 90s they produced some of the best players of all time, and played some of the best football. Amazing for such a small country. I guess it isn't sustainable indefinitely.

Before Spain's golden generation arrived on the scene, Netherlands were probably the most attractive European country to watch from 70s to millennium (along with Yugoslavia pre-break up who were nicknamed 'the Brazilians of Europe').
