Neto isn't superior at anything. Commands even less of the box than ter Stegen, looks off/unfocused and has worse reflexes. The man has been a bench player for so long that it looks a chore to play.

Look I don't hate Neto. I hate the fact that people are so convinced that there CAN'T be any worse players than we have. It's the same with Busquets and our other slightly garbage players. The Neto's and Pjanic's are not the solutions, and yes, they are worse than an already pretty bad player.

Seems to be a trend to overrate backup GKs. I know many expected a bid of at least 20m for Cillessen but in reality teams didn't even want to pay half of that.

Same with Neto. Probably worth at most like 5m.

Would've gladly taken 10-15M for Cillessen and just played Pena or whatever we can get for free. Same with Arthur, like 30M or something and not being stuck with old Pjanic sounds like a dream right now.
