How a company making $10 billion profit a year can even come up with something so ugly as a choice is just beyond me. We already know the board is filled with clueless, brainless gits, so no pointing fingers there.

Agreed. If they were going to use horizontal stripes, all they had to do was look at Adidas's Germany away kit for the World Cup and replace the black stripes with blue stripes.

But still the responsibility for this disgrace of a kit belongs to the board since they had the final say.
