We'd probably be better off if we sign no one instead of all these "free" players adding nothing. Free transfers often come with big salary and signing bonus.
Auba, Ferran, Fati, Depay
Pedri, Gavi, Kessie, Busquets
Alba, Pique, Araujo, Christensen, Eric, Dest, Roberto
Ter Stegen, Pena
+ Abde, Torre, Nico etc
That would probably be decent enough to fight for 2nd spot and get out of CL group stage.
If it was just about recovering we would do as little as possible and play as many youngsters as we can.
But that's clearly not what's happening, otherwise we wouldn't be after Lewandowski. And that might be the way to go as well, because nobody here knows how the financial situation looks exactly or where losing 2-3 seasons on purpose would get us in that regard.

2 seasons NO PRESSURE just play youngsters with these free veterans & enjoy the game... secure CL, try to win CDR or EL... after that period we should be healthy... like Real did, saved money for 2 or 3 seasons so they are full now... let Xavi work, build from scratch, develop the Game...

Belotti is also free... so many solid players that could hold several seasons for few 10s of Millions all together, deburdening our Finances and allowing us to heal, to get back on our feet...

Damn really liked him as a player. What a wand of a left foot. Pretty good career but could have been so much better given his talent.
