Neymar Jr. - v5

well, but also don't confuse your personal opinion with the actual Ballon D'Or result in the end

What does the Balon D'Or result have to do with objective reality?

People who can't see why Ronaldo does not even compare with Messi are not suited to say anything about football.

So Pique confronts him yesterday about all this and it made Neymar realize he can't treat the club like this and he's 80% chance he could stay. then Neymar Sr shows up and says "WE CAN'T HAVE THAT OBVIOUSLY" and now he's likely to leave again.

Grown man can't make his own decisions without his dad being there so all I could say is.

Unfortunately, that wasn't true. Other players in the squad put doubts in his minds but according to Brazilian press Piqué didn't try to convince him, he confronted him. As a captain and Catalan idol Piqué did what the fans wanted him to do but that only make Neymar Sr. more certain about his decision. It's better to face a possible UEFA investigation then stay in Barcelona and get booed by the hardcore fans or treated badly around the city. I feel they crossed the point of no return and would be better even for Barça to let him go. Even if that means negotiating some player to help PSG circumvent UEFA's FFP. If Neymar doesn't leave now, he'll leave next year.

PS. Not saying Pique shouldn't do that, as I fan I'd expect my captain to do the same. Just explaining that Piqué did not ask him to stay, he confronted him to make a decision ASAP.

We can get Dembele and Hazard instead of him, 140 for Hazard and 90 for Dembele and we are set to go. Sell Rafinha and Turan and combined with the remaining teansfer budget get a midfielder.

It pretty much explains in the post you quoted that Pique confronted him and what the basis behind it was.

Ronaldo exposes any slight bit of poor defending even from the best sides in world at it.

Is best I have ever seen for movement off the ball and he is doing it regularly to the best teams not just Barca.

It is virtually impossible to stop the supply to him as if push high he gets in behind you and if sit deep he will most often exploit that one or two moments teams defend even slightly badly.

Not that you are saying it but this idea he is a tap in merchant is clueless and if it was that easy there would be plenty of players doing it.

Not at all he is still a top, top player and one of his biggest assets these days is his off-ball movement, but what I'm trying to get at here is that if you shut down his supply you effectively shut down him as well.

However this ends, I see our club as winners.

If we keep Neymar, then great!

If he goes to PSG, then we get a shit-ton of cash to strengthen the club otherwise and we'll still have Messi and Suarez.

Says Neymar's contract is ready and has been picked up by Jean Claude Blanc.

JCB is PSG's general manager and a sport exec in France (Olympics, French Open, and now PSG.)

Yeah that is the best chance of limiting him but almost impossible to either stop him getting space in behind to run in to or to stop balls coming into he box for him to exploit.

Its what makes it so difficult and no teams have been managing it with any regularity.

Thanks for your service and goodbye, we will continue to win with or without him. He needed us more than we needed him.
