Neymar Jr. - v5

Yellow card was stupidly provoked. Could have done it more elegantly, like Rakitic. Overall a good game. Our most influential player after Messi.

Ahh, I only realized that the yellow card was tactical just now. I feared his general struggles to get a steady flow in his game frustrated him too much, but yeah, also a quite clumsy way to get a tactical yellow card.

Guy is not himself lately, he has more yellow cards than goals. He needs to concentrate on the important things.

Maybe in few months when he's 25 people will stop talking about his potential.

I have no hopes that he'll become future Barca leader as he was portrayed by many but I am hoping he stops acting like a kid looking for flash instead of substance and picking fights with players noone heard of before. If he can do that little thing, it'll be a big improvement.

I see him gone by age 27 to someone for mega dollars. He's not got the class to be our leader. He's a 24 year old child still IMO. As others have mentioned, he brings hate on us as a team/club with his antics also.

at least you won't be disappointed if he doesn't become Messi numero dos :) But even those more realistic wishes might never come to fruition. He's got a bit of a Peter Pan syndrome going on... he and I both lol. Assuming the role of leader just doesn't seem to agree with his natural disposition, except perhaps on a short-term "interim" basis.
As for aggravating opponents & their fans, it's most likely just gonna go on. Probably doesn't even see these incidents as fights. In his mind, he's just being his cheeky self. He might dial down his tricksters ways eventually, perhaps when he turns 50 or smtg but even then... He was born on the Year of the Monkey after all (for those of you who believe in Chinese Astr.) ;)

Lol, he was actually trying for around 10 minutes to get that yellow. I was laughing because I knew what and why he's doing that. Yes, Ney could got that yellow card another way but I prefer what he did over potentially seriously injure someone to get yellow. Don't remember which game or player it was anymore but I've already seen a player breaking his opponents leg to get a "tactical" yellow card.

So do Alba and so did Busquets in earlier part of his career but they are both somewhat forgiven that because they are "ours". Yeah, I don't like some of Neymar antics either but at the same time I absolutely don't care if other teams fans don't like us because of him. Most non-Barça fans hate us anyway because of our recent success and because they think we are favoured by the referees, especially in CL.

He just doesn't do what was expected from him... After all this time he should be - doing at least 50% what Ronaldinho do. Now, all that he's doing is some dummy dribling that no one care and defense doesn't seems to pay attention on it.
What really annoys is that he's acts like the best ever, that he comes into conflict with players and has no reason to do that.
And without respect, without many moves to support that behavior he's still acting like an a**hole sometimes!
I've loved this guy, but this make no sense anymore! Should learn more from Messi and not play his funny games with J.B. anymore!

He played very fast and very direct against Celtic.

Not too much hogging, which pisses people here, except for few occasions, including the one that led to Messi's goal (great assist BTW).

Was involved in most of the opportunities, again, but this time he made less mistakes and was more efficient.

His yellow card was obviously intended, but he should have been more subtle on that.

Great game, overall, except for the moment he got hot-headed (which I assume is the reason he was called "brainless" here).

Anyway... Second best after Messi, IMHO.

Yeah, great game, except for losing his temper.

Rated 8.19 on WhoScored and the third best Barça player accordingly to Squawka, not considering the keeper.

Stop being a child with these personal remarks, because you are slowly revealing yourself.

We need Neymar badly these 2 games. I'd like to see him score again, he's been fine as a creator so far this season, but needs to score more goals and be a goal threat again.
