I'm sure this information vacuum is due to negotiations with Barca management. They are all in US and it's 10.00 PM Eastern time, they are probably discussing the deal. I bet next year (if not this year) Neymar will have a new contract and each year after that just like Messi's. Barca fans should anticipate that. If you combine Dembele, Coutinho, Dybala they will not be half marketable as Neymar. Don't forget we are not PSG or City. We need to bring sporting success and marketing success, otherwise we will become an obscure and poor team. Really? If you are giving them more credit for breaking that info then don't. I'm a Corinthians fan so I've heard about Zahavi since the MSI days, he was linked with Kia and that Russian Mobster, Berezovski. Not sure if you remember but Corinthians tried to sign Neymar. That was when Zahavi got involved. He then tried to put Neymar in Chelsea but Ribeiro wanted him in Madrid to keep his relationship with Florentino. In the end Neymar made the decision to join barcelona.

To be fair this one isn't your run of the mill regular transfer, this is Neymar and his father and the rest of his Entourage. they showed so far that they can be unpredictable when they can, especially Neymar sr who's main goals are to make as much money as he can.

Neymar is the one that has to sign and agree to everything and so far by the looks of it he's struggling to make his mind up. for all we know Neymar's dad and rest of his bull shit entourage is trying to use the Brazilian/French press to pressure Neymar into deciding and to possibly squeeze more juice out of PSG and us.

That's why I'm so wary of journalists saying these are done deals. This is one of those where even the reliable journalists can get burnt bad due to the sheer unpredictability. PSG fans will be happy if they get Neymar but don't be surprised if shit goes bad behind the scenes when it comes to Neymar's entourage.

I trust Pique on this when he says he's staying but at the same time he if does leave, I wouldn't be surprised either and it will be up to PSG to try and find a way to contain his entourage before they go through the same shit we have since he came here.

So those reporters talking about how he was convinced by A or B are also lying. There's one thing delaying the announcement, the FFP. That's why I said yesterday that if I was Barça I'd give up on Neymar but take advantage and try to negotiate some players in exchange, because Neymar, as Jair Ventura posted and I've said before, doesn't want to risk missing the next Champions league. So they need a legit negotiation.

Of course not, he should go! Only his fanboys want him to stay. He is a huge distraction in public and now I'm sure he is in the dressing room. Bartomeu is so desperate to keep Neymar that he is using players like Messi and Pique to convince him to stay. A player who had a huge contract improvement just last year and still wants more will only cause more problems, not to mention his snake father and his entire entourage.

Now, I think Barcelona has the power over PSG to make this deal happen or not due to FFP. Bartomeu should insist on full amount or a player swap that involves Verratti + money. Nothing less.

You can't leave for 90%. And all this FFP shit, PSG knows the FFP rules and had problems with it before. They are not going to get a deal first and then try to get a solution for the FFP. If they wanted Neymar, they would have a plan for the FFP rules, and not say deal was done but we only needed a solution for the FFP so that's why it didn't go through.
