This may be difficult for a PSG fan to understand, but there are things that are more important in doing business than milking some extra 30m. from an oil club.
Need a bring up Barca's shady dealings in Brasil?

The better question is why should you or Barca give a fuck about what PSG pays in French taxes?

At this level of football, yes, it is.
Because that sends the wrong message to the fans and the world at large, that Barca is a club that has no principles, it'd rather aid the predatory P$G to acquire one of its own prized players for some paltry fee than standing to its ground. This would turn off many fans and potential fans. Less fans means less revenues, bad business in the end.
That's just bad business.
But just said the Qataris have so much money they don't care. So what is the point of this discussion again? Just pay it.
What kind of message did Barca's shady dealings with Neymar Sr. to force a move from Santos send to the world? Morals and ethics come secondary to economics in the world of football, you'd be naive to think otherwise.
The point of the discussion is that PSG can save money by giving Barca more of it, in which case FCB would be wise to listen.
