Neymar Jr. - v5

Wasn't Perez competing with us to get Neymar to Real?

Which turned out to be a scandal on our end and we ended up paying Neymar Sr. mega millions to sign for us. Now he's going to make bank from the Qataris from this shady deal to PSG.

Neymar will probably stay in Ligue 1 for 3 years or so and he will be 28. New talent gems will have emerged by then and Perez will have his sight set on them. Besides, he can't compete with the Qatari money either and Neymar Sr. is always looking for a bigger payday than his previous one.

I don't think he thought he'd have to wait that long. He's been here since 21, now he's older and absolutely ready to lead a team, and we've seen it when Messi's been injured how he raises his level. I'm not defending the guy, but sometimes it's not all cynical motives. Maybe the kid just wants a shot at fulfilling his role of being the no. 1 man. His entourage can go fuck themselves though. And just to be clear at this point I'd like for him to leave as well.

He doesn't believe in himself all that much then, if he doesn't think he can break out from Messi's shadow at Barca.

How much of Neymar wanting to leave is him also wanting to be the main man? I can understand that, Messi isn't showing signs of slowing down at what point will he stepped down as top dog, when Neymar is like 28? That's one reason I can accept for him leaving.

It's possible but going to Ligue 1 screams big fish in a small pond (league) to me. in order for him to win the Ballon d'or or anyone else for that matter is going to take heroics to topple the Messi-Ronaldo domination. rightly or wrongly its a popularity contest.

Brazil have a good chance at the WC and PSG look strong to mount a challenge for the CL this season but imo mentality will cost them again.. i still cant get over that 6-1 bottle job

He's not just battling Messi on skill level alone, but on seniority and the fact that he's the most legendary player the Bsrca's ever had.

Even then. Going to Ligue 1 is a massive step down. And it screams that he lacks ambition. His best chance to become the main man here would have been next season after the World Cup, if he managed to lead Brazil to gold.

What do you guys think if PSG gives us Draxler? Could he be a decent winger for us?

Well let's see...

We harassed them about Veratti a month ago and tried to bring the player in and had his former agent refer to PSG as a prison and now they are about to trigger the release clause of Neymar after they asked us to negotiate with them to avoid tax burdens, to which we said fuck you and now we are threatening to report them to UEFA over believed FFP breach to which we would want to see them face harsh sanctions that would see them fined, have transfers limited and possibly be banned from the champions league.

I'm going to assume we wont be doing business with them in the near future.

When will they get rid off Emery? Doesn't look like that will happen this summer, so there you already have one season wasted for Neymar. Won't win anything big with a fraud like that. Still amazed that he survived the Camp Nou trashing. Never seen a manager look so clueless on the sidelines like he did in that game.

more Ligue 1, l'd say.

lol nobody cares about Ligue 1. It's in French, which few understand. It has one viable team. The only other one just sold all their good players except one, who will soon be sold anyway.

Neymar's career will suffer for going to Ligue 1. It will never be a big league due to language barrier, not to mention clubs that few outside of France care about.

Man It's time to flip the page. It's hurts that he's leaving, sucks to lose such a talented, young player. Irreplaceable really, by far the best LW in the world. But at the end of.the day I forgive him. Brazilians aren't generally the most loyal players either, not that they're treacherous snakes but they're too free and easy going and detached. They go were the funs at, and right now PsG is packed with Brazilians and he gets to be the main man too. So it is what it is.

It's a gamble that Neymar hopes it will pay off. He's going there for not only money but in hopes he can lead PSG to a CL title and get him a Balloon D'or.

But I just can't see it working out long term as Neymar may hope. He will be in Paris and making a shitload of money but if PSG can't make that breakthrough to European glory, his move IMO would be a failure and for everyone involved as well considering the amount of money being spent to lure him there to make him the main man.

You're welcome
Lol PSG fans don't know what they're getting into.

Neymar was already terribly frustrating and petulant and at times unprofessional (birthday trips) in a team where he couldn't look down on at least 5 players (messi luis don piqué busi)

I wish them patience and zen power because they have 5 years of circus ahead of them.

Torn? That you?
