Neymar Jr. - v5

He deserves it.

Had he told the club and left a month earlier, we would have been in a much better position to plan the season.

Agreed.

He had to be a little rat and wait for his loyalty bonus before announcing his move to PSG.

The guard dies but does not surrender !

Nothing beats being back from death though.. im just saying that the club is at fault also. Neymar is pulling this shit for that bonus and not to hurt barca (even though he is somehow). Our negociators on the other hand suggested to him a bonus of staying at the middle of the transfers period. This is criminally dumb. A fidelity bonus should have been given if the player stays; at the end of the darn period.
Hilariously bad negociations and greed led to this, not exclusively the latter.

First of all, l'm supporting both clubs since my childhood. Secondly, l'm thinking that this deal will benefit both clubs. considering 220 m euros is a great amount even in this market conditions. Barca can sign 2-3 top players with that money, while Neymar will help PSG to grow more and PSG will give Neymar a chance to win Champions League. Next year Ronaldo will win another golden ball at the age of 34 years old. yet Neymar is still in shadow of Messi. so he has no hope for golden ball with Barca even if Barca wins Champions League.

PSG has already a good base. with some additions, Alex Sandro, a World class CB, maybe a striker, PSG will be ready to win Champions League in 1-2 years. What Neymar did was for his career, not for money.

On the bright side three good things could happen.

Neymars circus and parasite father are no longer at the club.

We get 222 million

The board will get booted out.

Let's hope all three happen.

Bullshit, he did everything for money! He doesn't even have a decency to give up on his loyalty bonus, he has the nerve to expect a payment for loyalty while he is negotiating his transfer. I simply cannot believe that greedy sob. He doesn't say a word, just to collect that money.. no respect for his teammates, none for Barca fans and none for the club. I was defending him in the beginning but I started realize he is just money hungry whore. I'm glad that our board is not negotiating with PSG or his father.Let them spend years in the courtrooms trying to collect 26M from Barca. You think PSG will win CL in next couple of years, I say PSG will get sanctions in next couple of years. Barca made a shady deal with him and someone went to jail. Next one is going to be either one of the Neymars or Nasser, but I could care less. Just collect the money and buy 2 good players, we are going to be fine.

I don't want to be mean, but what is your point? What do you want to achieve here because you're clearly not a Barça fan or am I wrong?

My point is clear, no? "Get off your high horses." You can't point fingers at a player getting involved with dirty money when your team does the same thing.
Now, I wouldn't call myself a fan, a fanatic. But I support Barcelona since 1990 when I saw Zubizarreta was Spain's GoalKeeper and that name sounded too well for the ears of a kid plus he was too great and I was a keeper myself at that time. I was too young so I liked when the passionate brazilian radio announcers would yell at his saves: zuuuuuuuuubiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-zarretaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! So after the WC I decided to find which team he played for and that wasn't easy at the time, Yeh, barcelona wasn't that known worldwide. I Made my father subscribe to a newspaper dedicated to Football and they used to talk about european teams. I found Zubi and I decided that was gonna be my european team. At the same time I was starting to understand what futbol passion was all about and I was the first one to show up at my school with a t-shirt of Barcelona. No one knew what that team was. My uncle brought me a Stoichkov shirt after he went to Europe latter that year.

I'm very lucky because both in Brazil and Europe the teams I picked weren't that great at the time but became powerhouses in their continents during my time as a supporter. I saw most of the glory of both teams during my youth (nothing beats that). But Yeh, I'm a fan of only one team. That's Corinthians. But I can tell you that I'd consider myself a bigger supporter than 90% of the people that say they are "fans" of Barcelona, just because they saw Maradona, Soitchkov, Laudrup, Romário, Ronaldo, Figo, Rivaldo Eto'o, Ronaldinho, Messi, Alves, Iniesta Xavi, playing and winning a crapload of titles. I picked Barcelona and haven't changed it in 26 years when Barcelona was unknown outside hardcore fans and people only knew Madrid out of Spain.

tbf BrazilBrazilBrazil means no harm here imo and he has a fair point.. we were sponsored by these vile Qatar snakes. i don't think hes a troll unlike that Ventura and Lutecefc guy

Yep. I sided with you guys 90% of the time. I called this whole thing a circus but you can't try to say he's a crook because he decided to get money from a State that "supports" terrorism. Simply because that's the same money that went to Barcelona for years.

I would call him a crook but i would also call our board a crook for its dealings. its a shocking state of affairs to have our ex president in jail. its shameful to me we went from proudly having Unicef on our shirt only to replace it with Qatar. i remember a few years ago people on here saying Ro-sell is selling us out.

I'm happy this Neymar shit is finally over. apart from that treble it's been nothing but controversy. hopefully we can bring in players who want to be here and put it behind us

I'm fine with your logic. There isn't saints involved with International football. Now with money influx from Oil States it only got worse. I few the next generation won support teams or players involved with dirty money and things will have to change... That's my hope, anyways.

People are calling our board idiot in transfers. But I think we are underestimating the corruption. For every stupid deal we make, there is definitely some under the table deal that goes on.
