Neymar Jr. - v5

Left a sinking ship, joined a team with 3 times the potential to earn twice the money and play a much more fun role with greater chance on individual glory. Idk, the longer I think of it, the more sense this move makes for his career.

3 times the potential? barca can attract the likes of dembele and coutinho even in their darkest days, PSG needed a release clause of 222 m and a backstabber to accomplish their only star signing in 3 seasons. you can't buy history and prestige.

Potential is, when you can buy the future, not the history.

Milan have history and look at that Galliani and Berlusconi did to them when they got old and knew shit about modern football.

Bartomeu and Robert are our Galliani and Berlusconi.

Pedro

La Masia
Also won a Clasico without him just a few months ago.

Go and suck his dick on the PSG forum. All your posts are about Neymar anyway and he's not on Barca any longer, so take a hike and move with him.

We're playing shit without him, why can't you admit that? You should go there as you seem to be happy the way Barca and Deulofeu in particular are playing.

future is generally built on the past. outside of money, the infrastructure isn't there for PSG to become one of football's elites. maybe in the very long run, like 25-50 years or so.

They might have potential but will they deliver. If neymar doesn't bring them at least one CL he has failed. Winning ligue 1 with the finances isnt an achievement.

it's not that bad just yet. if the board only signs paulinho in this window with 250 m at hand, then yeah i'm on board with you (and yannik) 100%

the infrastructur isn't there? What is missing?

Top notch stadium
Top notch academy (pumps out more than Barca atm)
Ambitious board with an unrivaled spending power
Star players in their mid 20s, youngsters en masse

What does this mess at Barca have to do with "great infrastructure?". At this point the club is likely fucked when Messi retires, who is left then? Where are the youngsters? Where are the identity persons? When was the Last Time anyone got excited about La Masia?

PSGs future looks bright, Barcas doesn't. With Neymar switching sides even the presence might already be more in PSGs favour.

i watched the first half and considering the opponents wasn't that impressed. Verratti though.. oh how badly we fucking need him. such a shame hes impossible.

while I agree PSGs future looks bright and ours is looking like the end of the world im not sure we can compare them to any other club. i'm sure if we had a country bankrolling our transfers our future would look great too. its unfair, such is life but Madrid are showing us how its done with Asensio, Ceballos etc etc

the barca board has its issues but you are embellishing the hell out of PSG's capabilities. the infrastructure i was referencing was PSG's and ligue 1's standing in the football world. that is a limiting factor in rapid growth.

the other variables, like the academy players, barca has a proven history with those and with a new board those roots can be rekindled. what have PSG's youth proven recently.

you're falling into the trap of potential. people rave about neymar and verratti for their potential but if you aren't conquering things by the time you're 25, you have already missed the boat. verratti for all his skill has nothing to boast of in his CV.
