He gave 4 good years to us. A lot of amazing moments and no one can say for sure we would have won what we won without him he was very important in every trophy we won. Yeah he left us badly but he still gave a lot to us. We can defnitely respect his time with us and not indulge in these juvenile acts of renaming a player thread.

Everyone respects what he did for us.

However, he disrespected the club in a way no other player has ever done before.

So it's obvious and understandable that many people associated with the club hold him in a certain regard.

Figo and the likes of course committed the ultimate sin by joining Madrid.

And perhaps Neymar will too at some point.

His circus during last summer when he attempted to play the club and fans for fools, rubbed alot of people the wrong way.

His good standing amongst a large section of the fanbase has been irreparably besmirched.

Well he left and we had plenty of time to get a replacement. As long as he doesn't join Real Madrid which we have no proof he will as he said he's happy at PSG then I have to respect him for all he's done and can't hate him the same way I hate Figo for what he did.

Also apparently the board were informed a long time ago that Neymar would be departing but kept it secret.

If you paid attention to how the board reacted this summer, it was as clear as it can get, that the board didn't know anything going into the window.
Whether the threat-name is stupid or not depends on if you agree that he left to be the main man sporting-wise, and not because of the money & attention (but remember that he is suing us to get the last bit of his 'loyalty-clause' right now - that might give a hint towards his valuation of money over staying at good terms with Barca).

You don't know for sure if he will join RM. Till then he has only left for PSG and worse has been done before. Title name should be restored to his proper name. 4 seasons isn't less and he was a huge reason for all trophies won in the last 4 years.

It is not really about him wanting to leave, but rather the way he left. He could have told the club earlier to give us the chance to replace him.
I do not think any Barca supporter would not any player who does not want to stay. It is not either about him wanting money or glory, it is just about how the transfer was made.

PSG was going to activate his buyout clause and I am pretty sure that they planned that a while so why did not he tell the club? He knew that he was a key player for us, yet he put us a very poor position.
