Ronaldo, Figo, Ibrahimovic, Thiago, Cesc etc etc, players come and go. We managed to beat Madrid away without Neymar. It isn't so cut and dry that one person leaves means everything else goes to shit. If he's that unhappy and wants to play with all his Brazilian mates then so be it. No one is bigger than a football club, especially one the size of Barcelona.

The difference between those players you mentioned is that we always had players good enough to replace them at the club already. Messi was there for half of those names. This isnt about if he is bigger than the club or not. We cant improve if we sell one of the best players in the world. This is simple facts. If we lose Neymar now, we wont crush and burn, but we wont improve either. With clubs like Madrid, Bayern, Juve, hell even Milan, making big transfers this season we will be at a huge disadvantage.

Again lets not act like we dont need him. We have gotten comfortably recently with player departures because we have Messi. But now Messi is growing old and we have to look to the future and selling Neymar is the worst possible decision for us in the future. I dont give a shit about his attitude right now. Fans emotions change with every performance.

Qatar's natural gas will run out in 138 years but well before that happens the world probably will switch to cleaner renewable energies so the money their Qatari sugar daddy will make is only going to dwindle. Without oil and natural gas, Qatar is nothing. Their non-energy related industries and the financial sector amount to less than 10% of their GDP. Long term Qatar will be fucked, like any country that relies on selling oil and gas.
