I'm learning it right now but as with most languages even if you are getting good at reading, getting good at listening is a different story.

Yeah that's very true. Like I can read Italian fairly well but I still have trouble understanding it spoken (tv stations & whatnot). Lot of it is the speed & how quickly your brain can process words it isn't used to hearing. At least text you can process it at your own pace.

Yeah exactly. I've honestly looked for kids TV from Brazil because they speak much slower and more clear lol.

That's why Japanese is sp difficult for me. I enjooy reading it and being happy I can understand the writing more and more, but the speaking and listening I need to work on. Takes time I guess
