Kante has that cynical side in him when needed, but since he's smaller and seem to be a good guy it's never pointed out.

I don't mind it. It's just something that need to be done sometimes.

Sometimes you have to be cynical to win.

Really??? Kante is superb in the final, also the semi final but no way he has a bigger role than Tuchel. Give Kante Lampard then i'm sure Chelsea would have lost to Atletico.

I was among those who wanted him to be signed soon after he won the league with Leicester.

Some brilliant Guardiolas in here kept saying how he doesnt fit Barca style.

The same i did for Arturo Vidal prior joining Juventus. And people kept saying how there is no room for tough tackling midfielders in Barca only for us to buy him when too old and less athletic

I was clammering for us to sign Thiago Silva last summer .
It?s tragic how many players we could have got real cheap ..

He could win it actually. Highest profile player on the CL winning team which is pretty much the main criteria these days. And there are no other clear favorites like in 2012, 2013 or 2019.

Wouldn't say it'd be undeserved. Like I said, no one who should clearly get it over him.

Arturo Vidal was never a Barca type player. Not even that tough tackler, just a hot head that is limited technically.
Kante could have had a place here instead of Rakitic maybe. As CDM not really as he would have to also do some playmaking from deep.
