Leao is shit too. Both low IQ players, who can only dribble in huge spaces. Leao even dumber with his decisions. Barca need players with brains.

When Leao is at his best he's a game changer. Can dribble through an entire defence on his own and score or deliver an assist.

Inconsistency and whether he's truly motivated to be elite is the issue with him. Not talent. Not saying we should absolutely sign him, but if we're going to spend a lot of money on a winger I hope it's someone who can be productive and change a game on his own individually rather than someone who is dependent on the system/collective.

He wasn't 60M worth in the final third, but I think he did more than ok. Did we really see the same game, he poked a hole in RM defense every time he got the ball, what more could one expect from a winger in a mediocre team against RM?

Imo Leao isn't a game changer at all, he's lazy and comfortable af. I haven't watched all of Nico's games this season, but tonight he was playing very good, every time he got the ball he created danger - with a better midfield and striker than at Bilbao he would have at least 1-2 more assists. I'm not saying we should go all in on him, but I would definitively try to shift Tuna for 20M and buy Nico for 60M - he would be a huge upgrade.
We have Yamal and Raphi as starting wingers, we could almost keep the same quality and creativity with Nico as backup for both LW and RW.

I think Leao is very overrated but the difference between him and Nico is night and day, Leao is faster, stronger, a more versatile dribbler and can create his own chances too.

The fact that he's taller + has a bigger frame makes him almost impossible to stop once he gets going, just watch the second half he played at Bernabeu a few weeks ago, he was blazing past Madrid bodies like no big deal, even guys like Militao who are physical freaks COULDN'T compete. Heck, you can even watch the Portugal vs France Euro game where Kounde looked like a grandma trying to stop him.

Nico on the other hand rarely imposes himself against opposition fullbacks unless they're super washed and his dribbling bag is also limited, he rarely goes for the weak foot cutback which makes him predictable.
