I am glad a few of you are bothering to take a look at what I have seen for nearly two years. I watch him and get amazed with the volume of high accolades he gets here. He is very LIMITED!!. He adds very little to the Barca team as it is currently composed.

I am certain Barca will go for him as usual but I am more certain there will be a geometrical rise in disappointments here and the fanbase. Not because he is really bad but more because of the high expectations, and also because the club will likely have to borrow or make some financial sacrifices to fund the operations.

It ilikely y Barca may not be able to buy many players going by current financial position and expected salary cap for next season. If you then have these constraints, it calls for ingenuity and prudence, a low risk high reward projects. Not for sensational buys that add little value to you.

I am foreseeing another Greiezman situation here.

It's not like he plays for Getafe and carries them. Bilbao are a good team and he's not among top of their performers.
How many good games has he had entire season? Genuine question.

And then there's potential amigo situation if he comes.

Yeah I agree. The finances for Barca aren't in great shape and it makes more sense to strengthen in other areas, if even possible. He seems a luxury buy.

We broke confirmed.

But with a bit of luck maybe we can afford Javier Puado on a free.

Atlético de Madrid had been interested in Javi Puado as a possible offensive reinforcement for next season, taking advantage of the fact that the RCD Espanyol forward's contract expires this summer and he can negotiate as a free agent.

However, the situation has changed completely after learning of the conditions the player has put on the table to become a new Atlético player.

According to sources close to the negotiations, Puado reportedly demanded a significant signing bonus as a free agent, in addition to an annual fee that, combined with the signing bonus, would raise his total cost to over six million euros per season .

Welp, I take that back. That's us ruled out of Javier Puado too  @Temptation

Won't be surprised if they're looking at other options. There's been fewer transfer reports/rumors so far though than I have seen in a long time. Seems like Deco and his team have managed to shut down the leaks for the most part. Probably helps that Flick being a foreigner also don't have buddies in the press he'll leak stuff to.

Not many great options though to be fair. It's basically Nico, Leao, Diaz or some young and upcoming guy breaking out, but I don't know if there's a player like that around in Europe right now since PSG signed up the two guys that did fit that description

If we believed the media narrative in December through January, Olmo should have been playing for City by now

Let the dust settle, no question he is a priority

There is @draconifire football hero, aka Lookman. Leao might end up being the cheaper option (in comparison to Nico) as it seems hype around him is almost gone.

France has few names, Monaco alone has Akliouche who is decent, and Ben Seghir who might turn even better than Nico but very young and is LW/AM hybrid which we have a bad history with. Lille has Zhegrova but he plays more on the right and suffered from bad injury this season, Luis Henrique had very good first season in Marseille and a bonus is that he can play LWB when needed. Liga 2 has Yeremay Hernández

There is also the beautiful experience of gambling on players from Dortmund (Gittens & Duranville) or some Brazilian kid.

I am not suggesting any of those per se, but just saying we aren't limited to looking at Nico alone.
