I remember reading he had some sort of knee injury back in the day and it slowed him down. I doubt Bayern would try to keep him if he was finished. They are usually pretty good spottinf when players are done.

I've watched a lot of him and the guy is a beast. Has a great presence about him, looks like he should move like a truck but he's fast. Also very capable with the ball at his feet.

The only downside is he's had two big injuries since 2019 but looks to have recovered now and is back in the team every week.

For a free transfer you don't get many 26-year-old Bayern and Germany starters. Especially when you consider some of the utter shite that has been signed in recent seasons.

Surprisingly he's pretty fast and good with the ball for being 1,95 and built like a tank. Started out as a striker too iirc before he became a CB at 15 or something.

Had some major injuries already though and isn't known for having the most professional diet so idk if that could possibly come back to bite him in his late career.

For his size and physical buildup (pretty bulky), he is pretty fast, yes. But I feel he has the same positioning issue that Araujo has.
