I need to watch him, and the Bundesliga in general. I don't wanna rely on the old misleading YouTube videos.

But I did indeed watch one of those videos, and this guy looks absolutely class from that. Very fast, fantastic right foot both when dribbling and passing - can play through balls along the floor or crosses, high square balls etc. His shooting looks really good too - he's very good at picking out the corners with the inside of his foot. In one compilation I watched he was taking free-kicks and corners too so a set piece specialist.

He looks a very big talent and at 25 should be entering his prime now - let's hope he can maintain this level when he leaves Frankfurt. It will be interesting to watch him develop.

Looks interesting, a hybrid between LW and ST is perfect for us but in highlights he looks a lot more like a winger than a 9 but I didn't ever watch him. Who would you compare him to if anyone watches him?

I was gonna say that too - I am surprised he's 'officially' a CF as he looks more of a wide forward to me.

Yeah, he looks more like a winger who likes to drift inside.
I doubt we will get him. I think Laporta is set on Nico.

I think Leao is gaining momentum with Laporta and Deco. A bigger name, atractive playing style and you know Deco loves Portugese players. Leao could also play as a striker while Nico couldn't. TBH Leao is probably a better player when he wants to be, attitude is another thing but it wouldn't surprise me if someone like this Omar would fit us better than both.

I haven't seen him in a full match, and I was fooled by Jovic at Frankfurt.

With that said, a LW who can play ST is a perfect solution for our squad.
No it isn't, this dude is a just a worse version of Raphinha.

He can't play as a lone striker, they tried that last season and it clearly didn't work.
Fati can't play as a striker. A striker needs to be strong in the air and physical and have elite finishing. We especially lack any physicality upfront.

He couldn't play as a striker! Someone that rarely scores and underperforms his XG can't just play as a striker, makes no sense.

Please learn what a striker is and what he does. Even gpt can tell you that, or just Vardrid thinking the turtle is a striker.
GK, LB, ST, RW. Those are the positions needing reinforcement.

Fair enough. Haven't seen myself so can't comment on abilities.

Dribbling abilities are key. Someone who plays LW and 9 would allow Raphi to go to the right and Lamine rest.

Playing 9 would atleast open up more than rotation scraps.

It's not an easy solution. At the start of the season for example though, Bryan Zaragoza didn't make much sense as we were looking at a starter for LW (us as fans, probably not the club). While now Raphinha has cemented that position someone like Zaragoza would be great for rotation.

Lest not forget Kolo Muani at Frankfurt. 40 G/A in 46 games or 1 G/A per 90.

Jovic had 0.92 G/A per 90.

Marmoush is at 1.7 G/A per 90 otoh.
