Óscar Mingueza

You're welcome
Did nothing wrong. Guy planted his elbow in his face. Yeah Mingueza was milking it but never in a lifetime red.

Pretty much that whole sequence sums up the pathetic play-acting of footballers these days.

Im honestly starting to change my mind about that (had the same stance as you) after the Foden incident. Blame should be on the refs for incentivizing this type of behavior.

I just watched a replay of the red card and it was a stupid decision by the ref. Cant that be overturned?? (that was playacting at its peak)

In a perfect world it gets overturned and that bitch made weasel gets banned for 10 games, but obviously nothing will happen.

Yeah you’re right. Referees have pacified and somewhat encouraged it for so long now that it’s here you stay. I guess ultimately if VAR was there they’d have overturned it.

Good attitude and well taken goal, but not starting material and very likely never will be.

Apart from shocking positioning on some of those long Madrid through balls, Id say he was pretty good. Probably our best player actually. Just on the basis that he doesnt go into panic mode when he has the ball in a tight position, Id rather he becomes a starter than Araujo - who must be one of the worst ball players in Barca history.

His strenght is his attitude but he really lacks quality. I dont think it will be enough to succeed as a starter but as a sub it could be enough.

He's the perfect sub for the backline. Has some pace, can play as a full back, as a CB and seems durable.

Needs to reign in that aggressiveness at times. Gets booked way too easily, very early in the game, limiting his options.

But all in all, he's fine.
