most hilarious shit is when he cuts inside dribbling while no one (including himself ) knows what s the purpose or what's the plan. he just stops the ball mid run and obviously he can't shoot to save his life,he just stops it and all of his teammates are just bystanders because nobody has any type of understanding with him.

He makes bad decisions but we don't use his pace for our good often. He made many runs and obviously has pace to burn, but we weren't utilizing his pace frequently when he was on the lw. Can only remember 2 passes for him to chase on the lw (the one intercepted from Busquet, and the other one where he could've squared it to Fati, throwing more passes for him would've been another means to create more chances).

Except there were multiple times when he had space to run into, and the ball wasn't passed even in the first half. He spoke to Busquets about it, and you could see it in his gestures (telling him to pass so he'll run at space). On another hand, it's possible Busquet started trying that later and got his pass intercepted for Inter's second goal.

He'll be 26 next May, he's not a youngster anymore. I don't see him improving in the areas we need him to at this point, he won't get much better than what we see now. He has the skills, pace, very unique in how ambidextrous he is but he doesn't have the footballing brain. He'll have a few games where he's unplayable followed by utter brainless displays. If he had the footballing iq, he'd be the best player in the world.

Xavi has actually done a decent job with him imo and he's pretty much one of the only reasons Dembouz is still at the club.

What he really needed was a manager to take him under their wing when he joined Barca but sadly we had Ernie who's main focus was keeping the amigos happy.

lol vini is a very very high level, he wont reach that but he doesnt need to get on that level. Just be more consistent and improve decision making. It's crazy but he is still the best attacking player at barca.
