Ah yes, south american players like Neymar, Coutinho, Arthur, Fernandes, Yerry Mina ...
They are all gone from Barca and they left really quick, didn't stay at the club for years only taking/collecting money... So you can't compare them with french guys like Umtiti, Lenglet, Griezman, Dembele ...

Neymar is a categorical success even when he left it was a bad decision on his part. We still got paid, etc.

Barca's best ever teams revolved around South American or Dutch players. Players from those countries feel a certain way about Barca.

These French core players that have come through. All of them have issues. Kounde will be the next of the major French Barca players to start trouble. Already crying about RB yet blows at CB almost everytime late last season and this friendly.

To bad if he leaves, chuluweze went for 20mil to Milan.

He is our most imoortant player in attack, and with Rapinha amd Ferret on right side we can't do shit.

But still I think he will stay.

I think so too, cause he seems too attached to Barca else there's nothing stopping him from leaving. He'll own the rw in PSG and collect more money and bonuses, have less pressure to deliver as 50m isn't a massive transfer fee for PSG anymore, plus he gets a new start with fans not always holding him to that Liverpool miss.
So wouldn't blame him if he leaves cause they're plenty benefits for him but would be happy if he stays

PSG have offered 30m (rejected) for Bradley Barcola. It is unlikely that this is solid interest in Dembele, and even if it were, for just 50m certainly wouldn't rely on an Mbappe sale.

Dembele probably doesn't want to move to PSG, which is a basically a stepping stone to the Saudi League these days- which he already rejected.

Ousmane Dembélé wants to stay at Barcelona. PSG informed Dembélé’s agent that they would pay his €50m release clause but the player would prefer to stay put. If Dembélé doesn’t move, he’d be giving up a higher salary at PSG and €25m of the release clause.

PSG ready for another outright rejection by a top player

Even money-wise, it makes more sense for Dembele to just run his contract down and pocket a bigger pay-check as a free player in 2024. He's still young.

Doesn't make much sense to move now to PSG considering the chaos there. Whoever is advising him is not doing a bad job imo.

Of course, if he has another season where he misses the biggest games down to injury... not ideal for a player looking for a big long-term contract. Arabia is also a good option probably.

Dembele will get 25M signing bonus as part of his buyout. Do you think he can get more next year?
He is 26, has injury history. One bad injury next year and he will be giving up a lot of money tbf.
From financial stand point, I think leaving now is best for him over becoming FA

He wouldn't become a free agent anyway. Club intended to renew him.

Running down his contract doesn't make any sense for Dembele or Barca. Both parties would be better off if they part ways now. Barca at least gets some crumbs and Dembele hits the jackpot with a huge salary at PSG + 25M from the fee and probably a signing bonus from PSG.

For 50 million sell. He'd too inconsistent and he's been here for a long time. He should have started justifying his price tag at least three seasons ago.
50 million would enable us to buy a right back , forward and DM.

He's still young but with his injury history, he's like some 35 year old player. Managed to score 1 today, but I can't tell why the... are Barca hope that he is so good? For 50m, sell without thinking.
The more i watch, the more I get feeling - his runs are important, but he runs as an imbecile, without imagination what happens next. Just run... Like RUN FOREST, RUN!
