Huge loss for Xavi coz he is the only forward Charvy knew how to build his offence around.

Saw a few Lamine attacks in his cameo today and it's clear that he could escape his marker too, but there were no forward options in front of him. Hopefully Roque can give a bit of pace and guile in the attack.

Such a huge loss that Xavi won the league while this guy predictably missed the business end of the season

Wingers are not forwards. Forwards are the ones getting into scoring positions: the CFs and the wide-forwards
Dembele is not playing a position designed to come into the box and score.
Simple as that, but you pull mental gymnastics to suit your hate agenda

Salah and Son (both are light years behind Dembele in dribbling and creating) are wide-forwards not wingers, they don't hug the touchline, they play in the half-space and make timed runs to receive in scoring positions and score.
That's different position.
Anyone who has watched enough football to know the difference between a winger and a wide-forward knows that

Next poor hate-argument?

Salah is light years ahead of Dembele where it actually matters though.

Dembele played in 22 of 34 games before the title was won and Barca lost once away to Real.

Can just as easily say look at this season when dont have him as a comparison.

Yeah. We won it off the defence. They didn't call him Xavieone Nil on the streets for nothing last year.

So, in order of importance, where do you think the credit for the league lies. I see it as:

1) Defense
2) Xavi
3) Dembele
4) Lewa

It's not logical for a player to miss the majority of the business end of the season and be crowned as the most influential piece compared to constants like the defense and Xavi. Lewa had an amazing 2 months and then completed disappeared post WC, so he's rated even lower than Dembele.

I'm saying Dembele was the only offensive play he knew how to effectively utilize. When Dembele went down he played Raphinha as if he were Dembele, and made no changes.

Lewy had an excellent first half and dropped off after the WC.

While the AML was discarded all together as Gavi was in the 11 as a 4th midfielder.

All this is coming from folk who don't watch much Liverpool I am sure.
Watch a Liverpool game and count how many times Salah loses possession because he is trying some shit or a bad dribble. His dribbles are actually 1 good 4 bad or something like that
He has WC moments, sure, but he is way overrated IMO

Any player who's actually won big trophies and scored big goals at any point is overrated.

While only Birdy the gerbil can see the underrated genius that is Dembele despite Dembele having a litany of no-shows and disaster classes in CL KOs and WC KOs

Nobody in their right mind rates Dembele remotely close to Salah, let alone above.

Salah's achievments and contributions to the game are indisputable, Dembele is a nobody by comparison.

Dembele is more of a pure winger than Salah or Son. Better at take on his opponent 1 on 1 and creating chances aka spamming cross (if coach allows him to do that).

Other than that, Salah or Son is light years better. Not even close.

Other than that is finishing and off-the ball moving into scoring positions.
There is no other than that.
And yes, there Salah and Son are better, since they are WIDE FORWARDS

Offensive awareness, technique, ball retention and of course, perform when it matters. Oh, consistency.

Funny that when people watched Messi at PSG you called them fake fan, now everytime Dembele does something good in PSG, you will come here and never stop moaning.

'Offensive awareness'? What does that mean? Break it down
Technique? No of course. They are at best on par, if not worse (Salah and Son)
Ball retention? In possession, LOL. Salah is being dispossed 5 times more than Dembele during a game
Out of possession? Dembele has proven he can press as good as anyone last year, if the instructions are so

Consistency of WHAT? consistency of scoring, yes Salah and Son are better there.
Consistency of dribbling, breaking buses, and creating? LOL Dembele light years ahead

You are educated again
Next fluffy word you will come up with?
