As a winger Dembele has the most talent across his generation. Let's face it there have been moments of sheer brilliance. However his injuries and attitude suck.

I'm on the fence with this guy. He has so much potential but we've only seen a glimpse of it. Higher ceiling than Sancho, Gnabry, Lautaro but just can't seem to get his mind and body right. Frustrating.

i agree...Dembele has so much potential and it's unfortunate that his time with us was riddled with so many injuries. I think it would be unfair to just get rid of him without giving him the chance of get a full season under his belt.

When speakin of Dembele's injuries, Barca should definitely shoulder some of the blame here aswell.
If you have a player with Dembele's attributes you have to map out a specific trainings regime for him so he can avoid said muscle injuries which im pretty sure we never did. The lack of intensity in trainings under Valverde has widely been documented. The kid barley suffered from any injuries before he joined us. So we're supposed to believe he's made out of glass all of a sudden?

The only reason why Dembele never worked out so far was because of his injury problems. Let's see what he can offer under a coach that actually cares about the physical well being of our players.

We need players that will work in system where they will have simple tasks, like that was Pedro.
He always know what he need to do, and Messi was the man who was doing what he wants.
Bringing superstars while Messi is still here is stupid.

Dembele will stay. Only can go on loan with option to buy.

Agreed, and what does that mean for Dembele? Sanchez had a better goals ratio than Dembele currently does lol. All those cute croquetes don't mean shit if he can't score goals.

Do we have to do this again??? Who are you buying to replace him???

Even if we sell him for now 60 million. Who are you using that 60 million on to replace him?

Let me guess NeYMarr

Nothing worse than your body constantly betraying you. As you said, the talent is there, but he can't build up a string of games because he's constantly getting re-injured. Just hoping that this long layoff helps with that.

I remember when Messi was coming through with Rijkaard that he used to get a lot of muscle injuries and miss parts of the season. Then the club advised him to change his diet and a few other things. We've been lucky that he has stayed injury free for the majority of his career.

I'm sure the club must have tried to do the same with dembele, but it doesn't seem to be having any impact. It's a shame as he's still one of the best young dribblers out there

This guy is a mess. Totally disrespectfull towards the club and fans with no professionalisme whatsoever. He is so lazy, it hurts my eyes to watch. Just the way he walks and talks is prove of that. That lazyness also affects his bad-ass decision-making, he thinks to slowly because he is never in a rush.

Let's just be done with this guy.

Diet? Wasnt Guardiola the one that made Messi cut back on the pizza and cola?
