If he becomes as good as Alexis he should be happy. Sanchez at 22 was a much better player, and he learned something at Barca, while Dembele has not improved one bit.

The delusion about Dembele is crazy. Sanchez at his age had movement/intelligence, composure with the ball, and confident finishing. Yet this fanbase fucking trashed him, and he was still trashed on when he was genuinely being good for Arsenal. This player doesn't display half the technical composure of Alexis, and yet he's constantly worshiped like he won us a treble already.

People will say "it's just pre-season", but this is literally what he did in his first and second season. It's just that his goals for some reason cause a widespread amnesia about his overall performances. If he scored the same users would have shouted "Prince Dembele" or any other cringe shit, and insulted others for pointing out inconsistencies in his technique.

It's a shame we'll only go for another class winger only after Dembele crashes and burns.

His link-up play with Griezmann and Puig was impressive. I bet it would be the same with De Jong as well.

Lots of positive to look forward to with Dembele, just hope he stays with us until this bum manager is gone.

I'm beginning to think the real genius of that season was Tuchel, for tricking us into thinking Dembele was a lot better than he is. I wouldn't say he's the next Cassano, Ballotelli, or Quaresma, but he's definitely not reaching the "potential" so many people here and in social media rave about. He's never going to be one of the best wingers in the world. I just don't fucking see it.
