Ousmane Dembélé

If he plays this weekend it will be on the left. Only a true moron insists on playing Dembele on the left. It works about as we'll as playing grease-man on the right.

If he just played fifa in spanish, he would have learned by now.

He doesn't even have to learn Spanish. He only needs to learn football Spanish. So yeah Fifa would probably work. If you speak French, Spanish conjugation is essentially identical. French is the only Romance language where the personal pronoun must be used but otherwise the same. Speaking in a foreign language is always difficult at first. Perhaps he is painfully shy.

In the Matchday documentary Valverde always used to speak to him in Spanish, without an interpretor. So I'd bet he at least understands normal Spanish.

He should be able to understand something in spanish. I went to Spain for 5 days and started understanding basic things so it can't be that hard after 2 years (or is it more now? I've lost count)

"Long life fan of barcelona O. dembele feels like he won the lottery after Barca board unanimously pledge to help him in his fight with paper legs. they will hold Messi hostage for as long as possible so they can afford the expensive treatment. Dembele awaits a visit from the man himself later this year so he can confort Messi for his misfortune."

"Everything is possible in life if you stay on the right side of Barca's board" says the lucky kid.
As a token of appreciation, Barcelona received the honour to wear the Unesco badge once again for the upcoming season.

And some say our finances are in ruins. We even have money for charity and filantropy

Or maybe he just didn't care about what EV was telling him. :p

OTOH EV also said this after Dembele got a red card against Sevilla last year.

"I don't know what Dembele may have said to the referee but I don't think it's a long sentence because it's hard to hear him speak Spanish."

But tbh it's enough he has said two or three words to upset Lahoz.

This is his fourth season.

I think he understands Spanish but maybe he's just too shy/not comfortable to speak it publicly to not be misunderstood/misinterpreted by the media etc. We know how they can be. He probably speaks spanish good enough to communicate with his team mates and coaches which is the most important thing.

This was the same situation where Messi said something along the lines of "he can't even speak", right?
