On a positive note: he had a very, very good game after a very bad start (15-20 minutes).

I think hes a good player (but not worldclass) when you acknowledge the fact that he has NO versatility. Dont start him on left, dont start him in a front two (like 352) - there should be rules. Like for Gremlins.

He either feels unnatural in other positions or doesnt have the intelligence to transfer his skills/knowledge.

A player of his ilk will always be erratic. A boon or a bane depending on the context. I might be in the minority here, but I'd like to see how he performs in a more conducive climate or until Barca has the resources to unearth an elite talent. I don't see the merit in adding more mediocrity to an already mediocre player roster. I will take a dose of unpredictability over uninspiring and sterile game play. But if he goes, he goes. Not that keen either.

Messi has softened with his age. Young Messi would cuss this guy out on the pitch every time he flops and tell him to fuck off.

Messi and Alba not passing him was so obvious. U can't make it more blatant

I'm sure you would have done the same if you loose faith on a teammate !!

Griez had the same issue until lately when he stopped brain lagging.

Look also at Dest and how hesitant FDJ & Busi are when they want to pass the ball to him.

Dembele is a hit or a miss, if you have a very very important chance/build up, and you have to choose between player X & Dembele ... then it's player X
