Thought he'd at least be made to train separately, but nope.
Xavi decided he's going to train normally with everyone as if it nothing happened.
It literally doesn't change anything (training with the squad or individually) about Dembele leaving so it's not a big deal and, and like I said before there seem to be no ill feelings between Barca players and Dembele.

I hope they end this soon, drama has lasted for too long.

Apart from the fact that these team sessions are also used to improve team cohesion and train tactically. He's not going to be a Barcelona player anymore. There's no sense in him taking part in team sessions a week before the season begins.
Let him train individually with the coaches.

It's the board and Allemany trying to retaliate against PSG and the player.
They can legally drag this until Aug. 21st.
Enough time for Dembele to miss the first couple of games of Ligue1, delay his inclusion and his integration, and possibly risk an injury

Probably just an ego thing after he said he wants to win titles with Barca and handing in a transfer request just weeks later. PSG also sent that formal letter of August. Barca is not in a hurry, but won't change that the transfer will happen.

It would seem like Barca is trying to get more than 25m from the deal (so there could be some truth in the story of Barca kindly asking Dembele's camp to give more percentage of the transfer fee to them).

So Dembele's camp refused and Barca seems to be legally able to stall this till 21st August, so we release the needed documents quickly if Dembele's camp responds to their request.

Now Dembele is also strong-willed, like when he refused to be used in the transfer window as an exchange for Neymar years ago or when he was willing to seat on the bench and leave for free so it'll be interesting to see who wins, and maybe Xavi letting Dembele train with the squad is a sign of goodwill to see if Dembele have a change of heart and advise his camp to give more percentage to Barca to fasten his exit.

The best thing IMO is for this to end quickly, cause the drama is too long and unnecessary for an added 10m or less.

This is Barcelona. We don't do wars with losers like Dembele.

Follow the rules and that's it. Not an inch more, or less.

Club played this spot on. We showed we appreciated him under his fair value.

The time to exploit the club was over when Bartomeu was sent home. At least until a new Bartomeu-like figure is proudly elected to finish the job.
