Lamine doesn't have Dinho's physicality and frankly a lot of his tricks and skills moves look forced and just for the social media clips. It doesn't come naturally with fluidity like Neymar or Dinho.

Yamal is at his best when he's trying to find teammates with incisive passes and trying to get past his man with a simple feint or a fake pass/cross/shot move.

Yamal is at his very best without the tricks and flicks.
What does it even mean "forced and just for the social media clips"?? Genuinely curious

Thoughts on Dembele this season? Did you see this coming?

He still squanders a fair share of chances but given PSG’s sheer output, he gets enough to convert every game. When it comes to dribbling, progression and chance creation he has always been a cheat code/outlier. He has an innate feel for when to release the ball for a through ball.

To be fair I thought he wouldn’t reach this level in finishing but retrospectively it makes sense as he never had the chance (bar a run of games at CF under Koeman) because he was deployed as a touchline winger under both EV and Xavi.

He still has that bozo/chaos gene that makes him less reliable/consistent in execution but it also allows him to come up with genius moves and decisions.

I always maintained he was world class and it’s good to see him reach this level.

Objective, devoid of any ill-feeling!!

The lad has a lot of talent that he's finally fulfilling (he's always had loads of ability) but he needs to maintain next season annd beyond. One great season isn't enough and can be labelled a purple patch.

Personally I think he can maintain a top class level from here. He's clearly a very talented guy. But as people say, there's still some dummy in him. That will never leave the guy.

Dumbele this season is more like Thierry Henry, a hybrid of winger and striker. Kudos to Lucho for absolute transforming him into a different player.

Yamal is clearly more a Brazilian style.

That forced tricks and just for social media clips is Tristiano's

Yamal is natural with his tricks, like R10 or Neymar. And his technique will be better as he is getting older so it will be smoother.

A bit insane to compare Yamal's physicality at 17 to prime R10.

Yamal is similiar to Neymar that both are at their best when they can fully display their styles. They are still great when they play with strick instruction like Neymar in 2014/15 or Yamal last season/Euro.

In fact, messi always seems to like dembele, even when you look at their interaction during WC. respect only and no bad energy... In fact it looks like suarez and Araujo were less fond of dembele
