Premier League clubs could pay a nice amount for him.
He could have played some minutes in the last weeks when Suarez was completely out of form but Valverde does not trust in him at all. I am still thinking about how Munir or Sandro could have developed with us instead of throwing 35 Mil. down the drain for Paco.

Would seriously consider giving Abel Ruiz any minutes Paco would normally get since it's clear he can only hope for early copa minutes anyways.

Total flop. A sale in January together with the likes of Turan, Vermaelen, Gomes & Vidal would be good transfer business.

Considering Lucho was manager for the past 3 seasons, pretty normal.

Pep was manager for 4 seasons and most of the players he wanted weren't players that offered us nothing the way Lucho's signings generally do. And Pep didn't even have a transfer ban to deal with.

Caceras? Hleb? Ibra? Chygrynskiy? even Cesc and Alexis was underwhelming. And all of them was his choice.
Never mind guy desperately wanted Adebayor to replace Eto in 2008, that would have been a disaster, he was lucky that Txiki saved him from himself.

The only players of that list that remained after Pep left were Cesc and Alexis and neither one of those were Gomes/Paco/Arda tier. But nice try I guess?

Looks like he is certainly done here.

Bit of a shame that. In the second half of last season he really did look like he was starting to make strides and seemed like he could become a decent option off the bench.

Transfer ban makes it harder and Pep had possibly the best squad of young players in the world when he took over.

Lucho had the job of starting to replace that teams.

Cant really compare them.

Pep effectively paid something like 70m + Etoo for Villa but rest of team was so good it barely made a difference.

Different times as well. That Pep team revolutionised football and type of players teams were after gave more competition for players and on top of that more money in EPL and billionaire teams.

Lucho made some crap signings but cant really compare the two as such different situations.

The 2 braziliand: Henrique and Keirisson were already on the team? Both awful.

Nice try for what? Txiki was more capable of getting rid of players Pep failed to use while Zubi/Roberto didn't? That is now on manager?

tbf I doubt either are on Pep, just like Douglas/Vermaelen who Lucho had nothing to do with
