I could see him doing ok-good with Favre there, so even if Dortmund doesn't use the option after the season we can probably sell him better than right now or after another season with very few games for us.

He won't help us and it looks that Valverde doesn't want him to stay so i would be ok with a loan, best bet for these sales is PL but thats no longer possible and i doubt we would get more than like 12-15M if we desperately try to offload him before the window closes.

Paco has been given a clear message by Valverde, he is not going to play for this team. He would be better off anywhere else. Not making it at Barca does not mean you can't have a decent career. He was definitely a good player before he came here.

I think he is pretty good for their style of play. Rememember that when Paco made a breakthrough with Valencia, they played quite fast transition football, where Paco was good both with quick linking up and scoring himself. He just can't thrive in possession football i think. Dortmund is never ball hogs, so they might know what they exactly like about him.

True mate, in our style against a lot of parked defences he's poor. I would have thought there would be better options though.. like Batshuayi looked good last season, I thought they might have bought him.. who knows the ins and outs though.

They probably just wanted to get rid of Paco somehow and recoup some of that 30m fee they paid.

Says Paco's transfer to BVB wont be finalized until Monday. The negotiations between the clubs are evolving well but there are details to polish.

Make it 3 millions loan + 22 million permanent and be done with it.

Expecting 25 million after having paid 30 million, and not getting anything worthwhile from the player in 2 years, is not exactly asking for a lot!

Dortmund is helping us. Nobody wants Alcacer beside cheap loans. 2.2M is good and 20M is very good.
They took us to the cleaners with Dembele because he was their best player and huge potential.
It´s not their fault that we bought Paco for 30M. lol

Such a childlike mentality. It's almost as if you're proposing keeping this useless dead weight on the team and paying his wages because of some infantile desire to stick it to Dortmund over doing what any club would do when losing their best player.
