PSG's game will die down in the second half and they will be punished for their lack of chances while having possession and be dealt with a blow with Madrid scoring at least one.

I think Ancelotti purposedly had Madrid sit back quite a bit.

Tf is this shit. When PSG player on the ball, 1 teammate is jogging and the rest walking

Got frustrated by good D
They're headcases, long as you can weather storm and exploit cracks that appear you're good, even when you're a shit team
A good team with more athleticism, say Liverpool would find it easy to get past their press in that attacking 20 mins

PSG way too slow in transition from mid to attack, or just attack to attack. It reminds me of the same problems Barca 2018-2019 had.

RM have done well so far. For all PSG's possession and carries they have hardly created a chance. Away from home, coming into the break 0-0 with a deflated PSG is what you want. They will have expended energy pressing and attacking. A front 3 of Mbappe-Messi-Di Maria is nothing easy to contain, so looks to me Ancelotti has set up Madrid well so far, who can now regroup and turn the tide whilst it's 0-0, and frustrate some PSG players.

RM will come into the second half with the momentum.

RM have played like absolute shit, but are a proper team without players who piss their pants or run to their mamas when scared.

In this type of game with zero attack from Madrid, it could suit Neymar. Might be very rusty though

You're welcome
This is reals new tactic. Take slow first half go hard second prolly. Seen them do it against bilbao.

PSG have some much technical talent with Messi, Verrati, Neymar, Di Maria, Mbappe. The most technically gifted in the world.

If they were playing like they do all year.

Right now they are playing like Ferencvaros or Sheriff

They're playing fine and running into the RM defense set up specifically to stop them and frustrate them
Been clear this was gonna happen as neither team not great offensively recently but PSG need to attack to gain goal advantage

RM done pretty well to absorb pressure, but now time to exploit cracks. If dont get an away goal, PSG will have a big advantage in 2nd leg

Did the abolishment of away goal rule make it easier for the away team to fully park the bus and go all in at home?

Before there was an incentive to attack when playing away, now not so much.

I think the rule was fun in CL. Made ties a bit more complex.

That's their big strength. They can suffer pretty much the whole game, yet will score the necessary goal to win the game.
