Pau Prim

Less ambition than Riqui. Amazing.
It’s such an odd transfer but perhaps this is a form of loan for a couple of seasons, providing a path to return if he does well and an opening arises at Barça

Seems like creative asset management between parties with mutual interests

€5M, 4.5 year contract (no clauses)

Would this facilitate Rashford I wonder

Prim now linked too😱

Sport reporting we will get some cash for him if he leaves.

If we can pull of 6-10m for both him and that other kid who left, wouldn't be a bad winter, since that's all profit..

Fati leaving would help a lot too, but that's not happening.

Cant see them getting much of a fee when out of contract in summer and is not a massively rated youngster.

Unless likes of Saudis desperate and willing to go there.

More likely to be let go with future sale % would guess.

Said to have offers on table from Al Qadasiya of Saudi and Al Sadd of Qatar according to Sport- which would pocket us a few million.

He's leaning to Al Sadd.

Worth noting the club want/ed to renew Prime.

Arnau Pradas also has an offer on the table but is looking more likely to renew with Barca.

They probably get a wage they would never get in Europe. I understand these mid level talents that go there but I'll never understand those who have the talent for the top clubs but decide to go there.

I think Prim is better than going to Saudi at this stage in his career. Was having a very good B season.

But disappointed he didn't renew and give it a proper go here.

Any reports what fee we'll get for him? Probably not much but better than nothing.

Disappointed with both his and Unai's decision but at the same time I understand them. Odds for either of them to make it to the first team were low (though OTOH you never know, not many expected Casado to establish himself as a starter this season either) and they will earn more there than they would playing for midtable (that's their ceilling imo) La Liga teams for 6-8 years. And they'll probably be back in Europe in a few years anyway.

A few million apparantly. The club will try to milk similar values as Unai I guess.

Question now is where does it leave the B team. There have been rumours Pedro Rodriguez will move up who is a cracking talent. But then this weekends game Sanchez didn't even give him a call-up despite Soma and Prim missing

Unai is more replacable with Guille and Dani Rodriguez who would excell in the hole, but he is injured for a few isn't he.

Left side wise I like DaCosta, but we should probably get DRO into the mix now as he isn't that young.

Firmly believe we really need Diarra to be the crack we saw in the U17 though. And probably to give Sanchez the boot and bring in a Flick Jr.

Otherwise squad is looking very very young with a line of elders who by and large haven't been successful signings.

I don't trust Sanchez with Diarra, he's legit probably the worse coach I've ever seen, the team is just flat and has no clue what it's doing

Unai the club were going to extend.

That wasn't happening with Prim so doubt fee similar.

Prim was never as good as a lot on here made out.

I swear he was a popular name as been mentioned by la Masia types on twitter etc for a while but just wasn't that great.

Prim had a renewal offer too. Was reported today by one of the rags.

Of course.. but Barca could automatically renew Unai and were not going all out to renew Prim either. Was closer to would like him to stay and could develop.

Would have been bizarre if they never offered him a renewal.
