I thought the ancient Greeks did that.
The English invented hypocrisy
Interesting read, we all probably knew that something corrupt was going on. I guess this kinda confirms it. But to be frank, the 15mill Real Madrid has to pay back is not significant for the clubs finances, they would have been able to do their transfers regardless. 20mill for Valencia might be a different scenario though. Im suprised that Barca, the hollier than thou and anti-Spain club takes state money, who would have knew.Bit of a difference.

And you might say the money in the EPL is outrageous, least it is spread around so every club can prosper.
It's not that strange if you look at the salary he's going to get.
exactly, he is choosing money over substance. No CL, Manchester lacks direction and stability especially with Mourinho. Both Juve and Real could potentially win the CL in next 2-3 years. This should be a shock for people here were arguing few weeks back that Pogba wants glory over money.
I read they offered 15 million euros a year after tax.Juve won't win the CL any time soon, its contested between 4 clubs. Barca win it then one of Bayern, Real and Atletico will win it the next year. Rinse and Repeat. United under jose in the next few years have more of a chance to break that then juve will.
Is his wage that much? 12 million euros a year is about £192,000 a week. Thats not outrageous in the grand scheme of things nowadays.
I think the money can be spent alot better but im obviously not going to complain about having pogba.
I read they offered 15 million euros a year after tax.
That would mean he was earning 577 thousand euros a week?
Sorry, it was 13 million after taxes.
That would mean he was earning 577 thousand euros a week?
No it wouldn't...
Being reported its done...for there counter offer of 120m euros. Insane.
Juventus turned down #MUFC's offer of €101m, asking for €120m, which United have agreed to pay. Official deal now 'days away', say L'Equipe
