Juve have a 400mil euro case in court that they're winning. FIGC wants a deal with Juve so they'd pay 200mil. Add their successive league titles, great CL runs and decent previous transfers than they don't have to sell anyone.

i dont know about the case but according to deloitte football their revenue last year was : 323 million euro ( ranked 10 th in europ ) .. that's like 55 % compared to the revenue of barca - real Madrid etc .. 38 millions on pjanic + 94 on higuin that's a solid 132 millions .. those numbers would be crazy even for man u barca Madrid .. they are selling Pogba and they're holding onto it ..

400 million euros?

That would bankrupt FIGC

Yes, that's what FIGC is saying. They want a deal with Juve so they won't go bankrupt but still pay up. Last I read it was 200mil.

Actually the whole case revolves around Juve not being as rich as the European richest clubs. They say that calciopoli scandal hurt them the most as they were the only big club that got demoted and thus lost a lot of players and (potential) money (Serie A money, CL money, sponsors etc.).

They already sold Morata with 10mil profit and got some money off from the sale of Padoin, although it was little.

There have been rumors of Juve selling Pereyra and they also have Zaza, Sturaro and possibly Lemina who they can sell if they have to.

Unless Pogba really forces himself out, I'll go with what the Juve board or president said... they don't need to sell Pogboom. Besides, Higgy is paid in 2 installments, thus only costing them 45 millions this transfer market.

But we all know that the last time Juve went on a buying rampage was when they sold Zidane. So history could repeat itself.

Mourinho pretty much confirms it in the press conference for the community shield.

‘I’m very pragmatic on this. The only thing that matters for me is what happens in my house not my neighbours.

‘I already heard two of my colleagues from other Premier League clubs and I have to confess I don’t like it. It’s not ethical.

‘When others do that nobody says anything I don’t speak about the others, they can do what they want.

'We made decisions. We brought four players, not 10, who are Man United level and can really improve the squad.

‘The others, it’s their problem they can do what they want.’

Asked if there is one more big signing on the way, he replied: ‘Yes. We have 22 now and we are going to have 23. Paul Pogba is a Juventus player until officially he isn’t.

‘We stay like this but, honestly, the market closes on August 31 but I think my club is trying to do everything to close our market before August 14. Normally next week we will have our squad closed.

‘We have four players that we think can really improve the squad and not just be one more. This is the profile of our market. A young defender that needs time to be a top one but who has top potential (Eric Bailly).

'A creative player that we know the quality (Henrikh Mkhitaryan), a super striker (Zlatan Ibrahimovic), and we are going to get a very good midfielder.

He's going to be a mega star after this transfer, like Messi/Ronaldo tier. Not surprised in the least Adidas are milking this for all it's worth.

Pogba also has that urban flavour to his brand that Neymar also has so I expect he'll be hanging out with more celebs in the near future

He's one of the most marketable players in the World going to one of the best teams in the World in exactly that, so he's bound to become a megastar right away, BUT....with that pricetag, he might sink rather than swim.

The expectations will be enormous.
