My bad.I read that riaola said that pogba denied coming here.Although what I have heard is him saying stuff like 80m is the minimum for him etc etc.What I remember riaola saying is that he won't come now but later his plans could change.

Terrific talent but we have Iniesta, Roberto, Rakitic, Turan,Busquets, Samper, Rafinha and possibly Vidal. Our midfield is pretty stacked at the moment.
I like Pogba alot but he's got an asshole agent, is too expensive and trying to shoehorn him into the midfield could be a big problem.

I get the feeling that Pogba would be another Cesc. Quality player but Barca is the wrong club.
Possibly, but Cesc doesn't really fit in any team. He's been awful for Chelsea throughout 2015 and is a luxury player.
Pogba may be the same, but he's a potential Ballon D'or winner as well. Post Xavi and Iniesta we will need some star quality in midfield.

Iniesta is usually outstanding when on form, but lacks consistency and also turns 32 before the end of this season. Arda is not a long term solution to our problem(s) in the midfield.
Most people would probably agree that Rafinha, Roberto or Dennis Suarez doesn’t have the same potential as Pogba. Roberto has improved massively and is practically like a new signing. What’s even better is that he is capable of playing in many different positions so maybe its better if he is used as a first sub choice whenever needed.
Rakitic is hard working midfielder, but not creative enough to dominate the midfield.
Halilovic is more of an attacking midfielder/forward, right?
Arda and Pogba in midfield would be deadly, at least on paper…
The main problem here is the price, but in case Pogba turns into a new Cesc, there is always the possibility to sell him to a club who would be willing to overpay for any Barca leftover.
