I'm not totally convinced we've dropped our interest. Guess we'll have to wait to see when the sesson ends.

The meeting with Juventus last season and all the moves we've made makes me think we've already accounted for his fee like we did with Neymar a couple of years in advance.

I guess Lucho will have the final call.

A big part of me hopes you're right, but In all honestly I'm still on the fence about him, as great as he may be. The fee - especially if he can keep this level for the rest of the season - will be astronomical. Money that would be more prudent to spend elsewhere.

If there's a big fee involved then we cannot give him high wages. He's on like 4.5m net in Juventus and the most he should get here is 6-8m net.

I also don't want to see us spend more than 80-85m max on him, and only sign him if Lucho want to.

A lot of factors involved, but that's how far I'd go with an offer to Juventus and him subject to an approval/request from the coach.

We don't really need him, would be a luxury signing. Need a young CB, and perhaps a LB more, which should be our priorities.

The best case scenario would be him staying in Torino for another year or so.

Yeah, I agree.
I don't see him going for anything less than 100m in the summer, though, which is why it'd make sense if we're out of the race.

pogba can score goals, dribble, play attractive, but i think barca do not need that kind of a player in midfield, they need someone like modric, and player most similar to modric is veratti.

A young player with as much natural talent as Pogba can adapt and learn. I don't buy this theory about him not fitting in at Barça.

And about Verratti? Why is anyone still even wasting time talking about him?

so you would want barca to spend 100 m for pogba? im just saying in the case, if barca want to spend 100m on 1 player, that player should be veratti (dont say to me that PSG, veratti and his agent would not accept it), but i hope barca is smart enough and dont buy player for 100 m, suarez and neymar was enough, that is galactico politic, we were laughing to real madrid because of that.

im just disappointed with barca scouting team, they just miss to many good players in last few years when they can buy them cheap.

edit: also i would like to add that ivan rakitic was barca´s best buy in the last few years in terms of money and talent, 20m for player like that, pogba is not 5x better player than rakitic who is also box to box player.

100m? No I wouldn't, as you could probably derive from my prior posts.
And yet again about Verratti; we can't get him - not for 100m either. He's nothing but a pipe dream.

Be disappointed all you like in our scouting team. Fact of the matter is we can't buy all potential world class talent out there, even though some of you throw hissy fits whenever a potential bargain turns out the real deal a couple of years down the line. Take Verratti as an example; would he have developed like he has now, if he'd been in the shadow of Iniesta, Xavi and Busi? We'll never know, because - yeah, I know I'm repeating myself here - we can't just go out and buy every single damn promising player in the world.

Yea, it's near impossible to sign the best talents when they're at successful top clubs that aren't selling.

Verratti, TS, (or Neuer for example) could only be signed through long-term courtships and years of playing nice with their club. We haven't really tried that.
It's a bummer as well that the players we wanted "most" (TS, then marqui, Verratti) all play for the same team. Probably made it feel less special or something.

We have Roberto. No need for this guy. And he'll probably cost closer to 200m than 100m, if Juve really is interested in selling at all.

Why people overrate Roberto so much? I personally like very much and he exceeded almost everyone expectations but he had only several good games, not even a complete half-season and all that playing "from shadow" in team which is great form.

He is yet to prove class IMO.

Pogba is a damn beast. I think he is a great player and it makes sense that all clubs would welcome him in their team but I am still against a transfer to Barca. Not because of him but because of all the circumstances. His price tag, the huge contract, his agent and he would need to change his game a bit to fit into our midfield.

We need this guy I don't care what anyone says. #TeamPogba for me! I bet Juve sells him to us for around 60 million euros if not this summer the next.
