Paulinho

all this hate has to be focused on board, on bartro and co. , it isnt paulinho fault

Board won't get the axe if the team plays well and we win trophies. The fact that we signed Paulinho doesn't necessarily mean we are out of the fight for CL and La Liga. Especially if they sign some top players too.

The problem is that we are not improving our team.

You get the Neymar money and you sign Coutinho and Dembele. That's what you do. You don't spend 40 fucking millions on a 29 years old player who hasn't proved anything big in his whole career so far.

But the board is deliberately ruining our chances to compete in the market in the coming years with these disastrous deals where we are stuck paying sky high wages for 4 or 5 years for old garbage. Even if we win a trophy this season, most sane people are able to think a little further down the line.

This might actually be the worst deal in the history. I am convinced this will get investigated and Barto will be in jail by 2019. Looks like its a good bye Rafinha, Denis, Alena then. Also sorry Seri, you tried to be our new Xavi, you actually almost did it but corrupcy got in your way this time.

Yes. But things will depend on the results of the team. If they make shit transfers, but the team somehow wins big titles with our same old players (Busi, Pique, Messi, Suarez, Alba and the rest), nothing will happen. They will get credit as if they are doing a good job.

Ive accepted he's coming and I won't bash him before he kicks a ball yet everytime I think about the price and age I want to scream. Maybe he won't decline in his 30s having been on vacation in China for 3 years.

He's been on a shitty league for 3 years, this is not Brazil when you play 8 times a year, you're going to play against decent teams twice a week.

Hopefully not, because even if we win something big next year, the team is getting older. You need young fresh talent. And that ain't gonna happen if you sign 29 years old players who aren't even close to being world class to begin with. Only reason you sign a player that old in our situation is if he's like Luis Suarez.

Paulinho aside tho Barca if get Dembele and Coutinho start to have a good group of young(ish) players - Ter Stegen, Umtiti, Semedo (possibly), Coutinho, Roberto, Alena, Dembele and others like Mina, Digne, Paco and maybe Deulofeu.

The trouble for me is they see an immediate weakness and have Paulinho as the answer as just dont see it.

Their neck is on the line with this transfer I hope. If it fails, they should be kicked out. Everyone was advocating against this transfer. And they still did it. This means either they had a great eye for a quality player everyone tought was substandard for a team like Barca, or they don't know jack shit.

Valverde and the team can save their asses though. Nobody will care if this guy is shit but we win some big trophies this season.
Or you know, this is shady deal that came at perfect time duo to huge amount of money in bank

How we're supposed to sign replacements for Messi, Suarez and Busquets when we're stuck with huge amounts of garbage on sky high wages who we are unable to shift is beyond me. We will be paying roughly as much in wages as the transfer fee for this dude from the Chinese league. And we already have Arda, Douglas, Vermaelen and the rest to pay as well. Lets not forget that we also have 11 or 12 midfielders if we sign Coutinho and Paulinho. We will not be getting rid of 5 to 6 midfielders and their wages in the next 14 days.
