Paulinho

So Paulinho and Gomes are 80% of the squad now? If you have nothing to defend your point just keep quiet don't spout strawman arguments.

Straw your ass. I'm not defending anyone. Statements like this are just ridiculuos and absolutely stupid. Paulinho is not the Barcelona standard, but a professional club like Barcelona will never sell a guy they have just bought, unless he scores three own-goals in a single match or such. Even the total failure Arda Turan spent 3 seasons at the club.

We sold Chygrinsky after one season, but I get your point.

Anyway, off to the bench you go Lord Pau.

Hopefully.

Hopefully, his famed defensive prowess can be put to rest. Let s be real here, he isn t a good defensive player whatsoever. He can jump and is fairly strong. That s it. If he doesn't score he brings absolutely nothing valuable to the team. Can t link up, takes ages to control the ball and pick a pass. He s both physically and mentally slow.

Chygrinsky was a pipe dream then? Wtf kind of logic is that you cannot sell a player after 1 season when its clear he's not Barca standard and is occupying a precious non EU spot?

There were no takers for Arda. We tried.

And guess Madrid are unprofessional for selling Anelka after 1 season? There are many more examples.

He stopped alonso from influencing the game, as for offensive aspects, he got into a good position but unfortunately missed a good chance, aside from that he was getting no service due to our tame midfield play and the ponderous nature of rakitic.

Not his best but not a bad performance

He didnt.

Chelsea just held Alonso back more than usual and played on break through Hazard/Willian.

I genuinely don't know if Hamzah is trolling right now or simply delusional, or so emotionally invested in Paulinho that he cannot see it.

Getting no service?! Lol
You seem to do the same thing Paulinho does when he plays: Forget his position.

Should we be surprised? Who really expected Paulinho to influence the big CL games? He isn't good enough for that. Nothing against him personally, he's contributed in La Liga but Barca shouldn't sign players with that kind of limited skill set as a matter of principle. Didn't exactly come cheap either.

Sick of the Messi, Iniesta + slow workhorses setup Barca has had for too long now. But at least Coutinho is here.
