What would the Chinese club or those associated with it gain from selling Paulinho to Barca?

What difference does this transfer make to those deals in China?

Of course it is but we are talking Messi here.

"most expensive ever" is just a dumb thing to say, buying a bench player today costs more than buying someone world class couple years ago.

Wtf are you talking about? Is there some point you are trying to make?

Paulinho 40m - takes up an international slot so Marlon will have to go on loan
= we need a CB so we buy Inigo for 30m

thats 70m gone already without a midfield upgrade and Neymar replacement. we cant get rid of shit like Gomes or Denis because the board are too proud, Arda were stuck with also..

I guess there goes the dream of having Dembele and Coutinho

they will have around 150m left and i have a bad feeling we'll panic buy Di Maria for 60m leaving 90m for the stadium

Barto is destroying our present and future. Paulinho will be Gomes level but 30 soon so another player were stuck with

Maybe Farto just wanted Neymar out so he can spend big on Paulinho. What a patetic club we have became under this maniac.

Congrats to Real on La Liga next year! Oh and yes we wont see CL for many years after this and for sure Messi won't see Balon d'Or. Maybe Messi is the only one who can change this by rioting together with the rest of the squad, something they did back in 2014 but then IDIOTS chose Barto againg!!!

Won't be needed because we won't sign Coutinho.

A player that cost less than 15 million is sold for 40m= 25m, That can be a under-table payment from Adelte Group to get a large contract for the construction of Ocean Flower Island from Evergrande Group. Of course, Barto is using the club money instead of Adelte which he partly owns.

Any amount could be under the table really doesnt. Original fee or value doesnt matter.

Even then the one thing those chinese owners seem to have is money. More money than can use to improve their teams really so giving up one of their biggest names for that?

I think what they are trying to do here is complete this shady transfer first, fans and media will get angry then try to calm the storm with Coutinho or Dembele or both.
They probably think that if they sign Coutinho and Dembele people will forget about Paulinho quickly and the media will praise them for signing the star players.
It's the wrong tactic though in my opinion it would have been better to make the good signings first, if they are gonna do any, people will be happy and they wouldn't care much about who comes or goes after that.

what do you mean any amount could be under the table? Few millions won't get them a contract worth few billions. Not sure what's your background, but this is how it works in the far east and many other parts of the world. Also, many other companies competing for those contracts so obviously who pays more get the contract. Those Chinese didn't become rich by throwing charities for Catalan companies.

Shouldn't have to be explained really.

This is the same guy who threw Barca to the wolves in the Rosell/Neymar tax fraud case last year. Really, FC Barcelona took all responsibility for the shit Rosell/Bartomeu and Neymars pulled off and this shit is hard to believe for some.

Are you people living under a rock? ffs

tbh one of Coutinho or Dembele won't be enough, we need them both and with this ridiculous transfer eating 40m into the Neymar money we'll either be lacking a midfielder or a Neymar replacement.

please don't tell me Iniesta will be a starter
