Last season he needed 20 games to score 4 goals in La Liga and the season before , he needed 36.

This season , after 4 games.

Right before he scored the second, I wanted to post that this was his best game for Barca in ages. Then he goes and scores another two. Anyways, nice goals, I'm very happy to see him score, maybe this will build up some confidence. But apart from that, last night he was everything we need our right winger to be. Pressing up front, defending, moving left right center. He was damn near perfect.

1st hattrick for Barça. Hope he keeps it up. Right now he should start over Alexis.

This is what we Barça fans have been hoping for.. a 3rd great finisher up front alongside Messi and Neymar. .I really hope he can keep it up

I just wished they used Pedros speed even more, making him run for the troughballs more then he is now. He should be the player that is always playing on the margins of offside, ready to burst out his speed.

Right now hes a bit restrained to the wing.

Classic Pedro goals. He is a smart player who has a knack for timing his runs and being in the right place at the right time, and putting the ball away. First goal required precision to slot the ball past the keeper at the far post. I will always love this sneaky poach of Pedro's in the manita vs Real Madrid where he beats Marcelo with a great timed run:

No one is commenting about Rayo, who are a possession-pressing-attacking team that doesn't sit behind the ball. While that made for a more entertaining game, most teams are not going to allow Barça that kind of space, which is where Pedro thrives. Against 10 men behind the ball in the box, ANY Barça goals are going to be very difficult to come by. We may see more counterattacks with Tata's tactical changes, but, especially with Neymar now a threat, teams are going to be wary about playing too high a line.

If he gets the job done like how he did with Rayo.. I don't mind Neymar-Messi-Pedro.
Of cours, Rayo isn't really a big threat.

Pedro's finishing is very good but the problem with him is that he scores only against teams that do not park the bus in front of goal, teams like Rayo. Unfortunately, most of the teams use that defensive strategy against Barca & Pedro has been consistently useless against parked buses.
