Seriously? Montoya and Cesc wasted far too many opportunities, but Pedro was a persistent threat in the first half. Pretty much did everything he could with the service he was seeing, set up teammates for shots multiple times, and took the one look he had at goal well (hard volley off a short clearance, on goal but blocked by excellent last ditch defending).

Barça played excellently overall, except for the miserable finishing. Osasuna offered zero threat offensively. If only one Barça player had finished the opportunities given them, or the setups been a hair more accurate, 3 points, game over.

Not good enough, he needs to go on runs that entail dribbling 3-5 players at least 10 times throughout the match, 3-4 of which must end in a goal or an assist, otherwise he's crap and needs to be sold so we can get a real forward.

So we should keep him because of that, even if he doesn't perform, seriously? What's the point? If that currently is his 100 % then it's not enough and obviously it doesn't really matter if it's 30 or more/lower minutes if he doesn't add something that you call ''valuable''.
he adds a lot of things but first of all he sucrifice himself for the team.
if u think with 11 messi's you can get a treble each and every year i got to tell you u r wrong mate.
guys like pedro .sanchez, busquets ,mascherano or even song, pinto, abidal, keita are as importand for the function of the team as messi ,iniesta etc no matter how strange looks like.
without them u become a manchester city.....;)

You must be joking, there's a reason Pedro doesnt receive enough service, it's because he is *useless* without space to exploit. You would only notice the difference when there is a better player in his position. You are splitting hairs to find something worth talking about in his game for the past few weeks. He has by no means been bad, but he is currently very replaceable and not very useful for Barca.

Agree about Cesc, Montoya and Barca.

 Setting up players for shots is useless? He knows when to hold the ball, when to pass, when to shoot, when to run to drag players, when to move to set up wall passes.

Here's the first 15 minutes. Barça has yet to take a shot, but Pedro has been involved in nearly every threat, and created/set up the best chance (outside of the un-called foul on Neymar):

0:26 - 1:01
Pedro holding width, Sisi injured

2:11 - 2:47
Restart. Pedro dropping in/out of mid for triangle, and center/right for width or long ball. Play goes down left. Adriano picked off.

2:56 - 3:13
Bartra retrieves long ball. Play up right, poor cross in by Pedro

3:21 - 3:49
Ball recovered in final third. Tiki-taka in center, backs and mids. Play goes down right. Ball mis-passed by Xavi when Pedro cuts in instead of out (more space inside)

3:58 - 4:02
Ball recovered in final third. Sisi down again.

5:18 - 6:00
Restart. Play around the back. Pedro drops in mid to help, ball tackled away but immediately recovered. Play down left, Neymar loses the ball on a failed dribble. 6 minutes gone, and the closest Barça has been to shooting has been Pedro's cross.

6:26 - 6:35
Ball recovered Barça half right side. Iniesta launches long ball to Neymar up the middle, offsides.

6:59 - 7:02
Goal kick recovered Barça half left side. Neymar has ball tackled away in center while settling a hard Cesc pass.

7:15 - 7:52
Osasuna loses ball to touchline left side their half. Play around the back. Long ball to right controlled by Montoya/Pedro, but no room and circulated back. Play down left, Adriano dribbles across, Pedro breaks in behind, clever run between rightback/centerback . Adriano puts through ball in but angled slightly too far ahead, pass direct to keeper. Best chance yet.

8:06 - 8:07
Goal kick recovered, Osasuna half right side. Ball tackled off Pedro as he settles Montoya's header.

8:31 - 8:45
Throw-in left side, Barça half. Osasuna recovers

9:14 - 9:30
Puyol intercepts long ball Barça final third left side. Pedro brings ball up middle, lays off to Montoya, continues run, then cuts outside. Montoya 1-2 back to Pedro, who lays it back to Montoya up the middle to set him up clear to shoot at 18-yard box. Montoya puts the ball to far ahead and it's tackled away. Best move of the game so far, best chance yet for Barça, created by Pedro. Montoya 1v1 with keeper had he controlled his dribble better.

9:49 - 9:58
Thrown-in final 3rd. Xavi tries to hit Neymar run, blocked. Recovered Iniesta, crosses over-the-top to Pedro on right, but the pass is way off.

10:35 - 11:16
Throw-in right side Barça half off of goal kick. Pedro fouled settling the ball. Played around the back and down the left. Bad pass by Adriano to Neymar, ball out of bounds.

11:27 - 11:53
Ball recovered off throw-in left side Barça half. Across to free Montoya at half line, advances, dishes to Cesc on right. Pedro between CBs, runs to wall pass for Cesc between CB/RB. Slightly off, but onto Iniesta's foot. Played around to Adriano, squares ball into box, but behind Neymar. Cleared out of bounds.

12:04 - 12:39
Throw-in left, final third. Hard Adriano pass across the box intercepted, but recovered. Played around the back, up the middle/left to Cesc. Neymar/Iniesta/Cesc triangle, Neymar into box. Foul/penalty not called.

14:01 - 15:17
Goal kick Barça after push-off foul in Barça box. Play around back, tiki-taka right side, retreat, then down left. Back to mid, switch to right. Montoya/Pedro boxed in, so back to Xavi. Launched to Adriano on left, pass on target, but Adriano mishits his cross.

He played good but again no need for him and Sanchez. Song was a much more effective sub and we need to change this for next year. Sorry but one of Pedro or Sanchez have to be replaced by a true #9.
