Barçapocalypse NOW!
2 out of 3 chances were because of him, Messi's freekick and the shot that hit the crossbar... Sure, he didn't light the world on fire, but still produced a little something...

Especially considering that Adriano was mostly just shoving (unwanted useless) balls to him when he had two Athletic players sitting on his back and no other outlets, yeah, he found a few moments.

He seems to have lost that bit of impetus and drive, I wonder what's going through his mind at the moment. If he stays, which I think he will, we need him back to his best like last season.

According to The Guardian he's having second thoughts about playing under Van Gaal seeing how things have gone with Valdes and De Gea.

Pedro was the only one who looked like he could do something. Messi looked tired AF and noone really gave Luis a chance. I was surprised that Pedro was so active and he clearly was trying to show what he can do as he was almost everywhere on the left side when needed.

Would he be a starter for city?

He can play there on his original position which is RM/RW instead of Navas. As it stands now for City they have 4 players for 3 postions

Sterling/Nasri- Silva-Navas.

I think it's easier for Pedro to be a starter at City than United.

Sterling-silva-pedro attack could be a very good. An in form Yaya and one defensive minded player could be very solid too overall.

Edit: I don't want Pedro to leave though, exactly the type of back up we need and can realistically have.

I personally would rather he leave. Sandro has impressed me immensely and I'm not even a fan of most La Masia products. Pedro leaving would seriously improve his chances of succeeding here and he could possibly take over when Suarez declines.
