Source of this particular interview? You know many words can be dismissed, i wouldn't expect Pep to say something like this...

MD said it's on sport bild. But the quote would be "in some aspects you're already better than barça", "you understood the philosophy faster", and he praise bayern players inteligence. It was taken a bit out of context, to generate animosity, as always.

You think its that simple?Getting a CB won't solve automatically our problems.I don't get a complete image from the Santos game,Bayern is balanced in every position...it doesn't have to do only with our defense but our gameplay too.And that's what i was talking about,you may press hard to cover the bad the defense but if you get exposed there are big problems.One center back won't solve it,im not sure about Pique anymore..

We have everything we need in terms of personnel except for a CB. Tactically we have to change of course, but I trust Tata to do that.

Our player's are better than Bayerns in terms of ability, we just need to tweak things a little on the tactical and fitness side.

I don't think we are to far off at the moment and I believe we will get better as the season goes on.
