Any questions about who is in charge?

I absolutely miss this man for our club, he's changing the culture at City like he wanted to in Barcelona

Seluk replies

Dimitri Seluk to @SkySportsNewsHQ:
"I will apologise to Guardiola if he will apologise to Manuel Pellegrini for what he did to him."
"I live in Europe so I can say whatever I like and Guardiola can't stop me."
"Guardiola wins a few games and think he is king."

Pellegrini already cleared that nothing went on behind his back.
Seluk is Raiola class but we knew that.
I don't know how people can respect players with such retarded agents.

We knew it, indeed. It helped change the culture around the club around that same time - a big reason why we avoided both Mendes and ultimately Raiola for awhile. I preferred that but I think at Barcelona there was too many other factors in play that made a legit stand longterm untenable. At City, Seluk has to realize Qatari group are not going to be baited into a PR stunt to facilitate a move - money is no object

Of course, this is not about apologizing - Seluk wants to help move his 34 y.o. client out as soon as possible. It won't work but then many agents are pretty thick, especially one in particular that we know all too well at Barcelona. Txiki in particular must really dislike him

It's a fantastic standoff in terms of putting agents in their place and demanding a modicum of respect, the Cruyff analogy was perfect

More I found from a post on redcafe, source is still sky

“If you are a gentleman, this just does not
happen. He [Pellegrini] signed a new contract
last year and then he gets pushed out for
Guardiola to come in. Pellegrini was a
gentleman."

MORE FROM YAYA'S AGENT...
We've got more from Yaya Toure's agent,
Dimitri Seluk...
“Guardiola also needs to apologise to Joe
Hart It is not normal and it is not right to
come to England and to get rid of the few
English players," Seluk told Sky Sports News
HQ . "They send away many people from
England and they have a lot of Spanish
people there. When you come to a country you
must respect the country and respect its
people.
“When Yaya went to Man City, they could only
dream about the Champions League. The
biggest stars in Europe did not want to come
to City, but Yaya came. They weren’t a big
club. After he arrives they started winning;
two league titles, cups and now the semis of
the Champions League.
“I want Man City to win everything; to win all
their games because it means more trophies
for Yaya. City have great players, but
Guardiola wants new future for Yaya, for
Hart…and they won’t be the last. I respect
managers like Ranieri who achieve without
spending so much money on players.”

The spanish invader is throwing the brits under the bus !

That's what you call authority! Some agents these days are so pushy and so unnecessarily vocal. It sucks for Yaya, but it sends the right message.

I especially liked his example: no player's agent would have attacked Cruyff back in the 1990s. Managers, players and agents each have their jobs.

This is pretty great media exposure. Basically Pep is doing every club in the world a favour by showing them not to deal with this fucking vermin Seluk.

Yaya Toure criticises Guardiola 26 Oct 2011

I think we all know the real reason that Yaya is getting this stance from Guardiola. It's because he criticized Guardiola publicly back in 2011. Most managers would just ignore Seluk's ramblings but coupled with Toure's previous criticism of Guardiola, it's easy to see why he says Yaya won't play again until his agent says sorry.

I don't think any apology or anything like that will change a thing when it comes to Toure. Pep won't play him, full stop. He's way past his best and has nowhere near the intensity or work ethic to fit in the team.

he's lost 7 kilos and looks like he's in the best shape he's been in years. I think he'll surprise a lot of people if he gets a real chance. That said he has been a disgrace the last 2 years looking disinterested and lazy. I have a feeling he's been ready to work hard this season because Guardiola demands it, hence losing 7 kilos.
