Pep Guardiola

Horatio

You're welcome
Well they had Sterling and Sane back in the day, who were absolutely rapid.

They still have Haaland for threat in behind but they play against low blocks mostly so is it really about pace?

The energy seems very low in that squad.
Aye. you managed to mention 2 players with pace that are not there anymore. Top stuff. Yes there is kyle walker I know.

Teams play low block starting 30 min against them. After that they start pressuring them starting from mf. And once they do city turns over the ball way too easily.

It also has to do with chemistry between players. Poor passes, or good passes to a player that doesn’t make the run or runs in other direction.

Their confidence is shot yes as stated by players themselves. But de Bruyne and Rodri at once would bring calmness back to this team.

Damn, you dropped more ball knowledge in one post than you normally do in a whole month. Impressed.

He definitely is, if pep is a Liverpool, then obviously someone else is at city.

Pep is the league king, he's winning more than 1 in freaking 6-8 years.

Because someone not named pep would be at city.

Mancini won the league with City, meanwhile Brendan Rogers couldn't with Liverpool.

Klopp > that Slot wannabe.

Dude has won 12 league titles in 16 years (counting this season, which will be only the 4th time he failed to win the league). Sure, he had the privilege to coach top players and to receive a big to enormous budget.

But no other contemporary of his can even come close to rivaling this level of consistency, whether it is Mourinho, Ancelotti, Zidane or Klopp. If I am counting right, the 4 of them combined have 14 league titles in these 16 years.

I think it's more that city brought in class players for a while. Other PL clubs have lots of shitters with no actual footballing skill. Kind of like Barca these days, he wouldn't win shit with this team now.

Keep this cheque book manager away from our club

Pep in his 8 year tenure at City has sold:

Brahim Diaz to Madrid.
Rodgers to Middlesbrough.
Palmer to Chelsea.
Sancho to Dortmund.
Lavia to Southampton.
Ko Itakura to Gladbach
Pedro Porro to Sporting
Douglas Luiz to Villa.
Delap to Ipswich.
Trafford to Burnley
Allowed Aleix Garcia to leave for free now at Leverkusen and a fully capped Spanish international.

Can’t develop young talents, he’s just a cheque book manager.

Villarato!
So how's the bald rich nerd gonna fix his lego castle this time?

Zubi alone won't cut it
Needs at least 1 more attacking option

Rumours are Zubi will finally leave this time. We will see end of Jan.

I guess they will go for Wirtz too.

Other than that, should of seen the light in Cole Palmer. Absolute travesty to have that player on the books and sell.
